"Today, 11-3, 2023, I was checking out at Fareway, Monmouth. When I walked up to check out, I noticed a lady employee who was coughing badly and constantly. So, I walked over to the other checkout and away from her. The lady who was coughing didn't have a customer. She was going to bag my groceries but I told her that she was worrying me. She said it was just a cough. Just a cough? It's not a good look for Fareway. She should have been sent home. She looked at me and said, "let someone else do it". Yes, thank you, I do not want you coughing all over my food!"
"I'm giving it a four-star only because the prices are really jacked up because of the location being in a small town. However, the meat department is always super helpful and friendly and have a lot of really good choices. I also love that they have self checkout which is unusual in small stores like this. Produce department has a pretty decent selection as well and they seem to keep it cleaned out of any outdated or over-ripe product."
