"I ended up getting the steak torta and it was absolutely tiny, very little meat, not enough veggies either to make it nearly filling enough, for the 11 dollar price point I could have gone to kings wok not far down the road and gotten a much better meal"

"Very laid back place, seat yourself format. The food is flavorful. I had the Mexican skillet with O'Brien potatoes (diced with bell pepper and onions) with buttermilk pancakes and warm syrup. Definitely worth trying, as they have a large breakfast and lunch menu. Staff is friendly. Also it's a Spanish speaking venue for those who have English as a second language. Vegetarian and Vegas can dine here. Getting the veggie skillet no eggs and add guacamole on the side. It's fresh and tasty."

"I really, really wanted to like this place. I LOVE diners, and I feel like the old school Chicago diners are a dying breed. Bialy’s is a local staple and always packed on the weekends so I had high hopes. I came with my family and we tried a few different options, but none of the food was really good. We tried classic American breakfast food as well as the Mexican options, and neither did it for us. The Mexican food was bland, and the American food even more bland. The soup was the only pleasant thing on the table. Maybe my expectations were too high. We didn’t try the waffles, so maybe redemption lies there. I’m not sure, but I am sad to say that it didn’t make it to my list of local favorites."

"It's a homey, welcoming neighborhood diner. The food was tasty, and the service was kind and quick. Not something I would indulge in daily (or even weekly), but I enjoyed the typical American breakfast and coffee refills. Puncakes were fluffy, meat soft, coffe strong. It's convenient (just around the corner!) and quiet affordable."

"Their food is delicious! The stuffed pepper soup was so good! I ate a small chicken breast salad. Their potions are large. I would recommend this place for take out or dine in."
