"Burger was over done and a bit dry. Everything else was okay! Not the best but not the worst! The location in general was pretty clean."

"Just when you think Steak n Shake is doing well again, they shoot themselves in the foot. The latest stunt they’ve pulled: making it to where you have to scan a QR code just to get a beverage out of the machine. They say you can get a refill, but the refill only gives you half a cup of the soda. If they’re that worried about people stealing their soda - which is obscenely cheap for them - maybe they should just close their doors. My spouse and I will not be back."

"We walked in and it was full. Every table was full. None of the people had food. There was only 1, count 'em, one cook. I mentioned this to my wife and grandson. Neither one took notice. Well, it's 2:23 now and the kiosk print out says we ordered at 1:41. At least we got our drinks and found a table. We walked up to get our food at 2:34. Not worth the wait at all. Pass this joint up if you are on the road expecting quick and personal service."

"I give TJ the man working the drive thru an A+!!!! He is always so friendly and nice when I go there! I’m glad we still have a Steak ‘n Shake in the area. I wish it was still open all night. I love their shakes and it doesn’t take long to get my orders."

"WOW! We just visited this S&S location (indoors) for the first time since before COVID shut everything down. It's very clean, ordering is now all automated (like McD's or Shake Shack order screens), and sodas are self-serve. The order process was very quick & easy. All machines take cards except for the one which also takes cash. They've done an excellent job updating their system & process! If you haven't been here in a while, give them a try. Very friendly & convenient service!"
