"02/24/24 - Wish they would update their actual open hours. You check google, says they're open at 11am on Saturday. Call them, goes to voicemail that says they're open at 11am on Saturday. The storefront even says that, but you can try to go in at 1145am on a Saturday and they're closed."

"I never like talking bad about family places but I was so disappointed. We waited for over an hour and the cook was just horribly slow. We saw people come in and speak with the cook and leave with food before we got ours. Our greens we paid for were completely forgotten. The carpet, you could feel your shoes stick to it. The host was amazing, we let them know it was our first time he offered great suggestions. The catfish is amazing and the batter for the chicken wings is excellent. The smothered porkchops, had an almost chemical or refirdgerator taste to it I couldn't describe it. We went in the slow time between 1 and 3 and we had to leave. We were going to be late for work once it got closer to 3. The host was kind and continued to ask about our food but the cook pushed other food out. The host apologized to us several times. It was not his fault, I understand how a restaurant works, but someone should work on time management for orders with BOH."

"Everything was amazing!! Highly recommend. Brandon was awesome and so nice. The fried corn on the cob is a must have. The wings were great. The fried kool-aid is a must try. Fried oreos are very good."

"We ordered Hot Wings with fries, and the Midwest Burger with fries. I'll start with the wings: sauce was good, but they were the smallest wings I've ever seen. They were cheap, so order more than you would elsewhere. Otherwise, they were ok. The fries weren't very crispy, but they had a good seasoning on them. The Midwest Burger was probably the worst meal I've ever had dining out. It had two patties, that were so dense and overcooked, I could only down a few bites. It was as if they were cooked a day or two prior, stored in a refrigerator, then microwaved way too long. Drenched in BBQ sauce and put together with the cheap bun. The restaurant seems better for takeout than dining in. The carpet was sticky near our table, and it looked like renovations to the restaurant left a lot of projects only partially complete. Our food was served to us in to-go containers with plastic utensils, with a few ketchup packets."
