"The helpful hardware man wasn't very helpful. My husband went here today and recieved such horrible service...actually it wasn't service. The man there made him feel like he was bothering him. Won't be back!"
"Item (Taco Rack) was placed on the shelf with the wrong price. It rang up for a higher price. I called it to there attention and the asst manager declined to honor the price on the shelf. Stating that someone could have put it in the wrong place. I asked to see where the item normally is, she was unable to show me."
"Went to buy a snow blower that showed as "in stock" at Buikema's on the Ace website. When I arrived, I showed the cashier the item on the Ace website. He checked and confirmed the item was in stock, but they were either unable or unwilling to get the item out of stock for me. I suspect the latter and will not shop at Buikema's again due to the complete absence of customer service. My recommendation to Ace is to not show items as "in stock" on their site if the store is unable/unwilling to provide it. My recommendation to potential Buikema's customers is to call ahead and ask if the item is in stock AND if they will get it out of stock and sell it."
"Just went into this Ace to purchase paint and was told it was too late. Three employees all standing by the door with nothing to do. The older gentleman with a mustache refused to let the younger employees mix up a quart really fast. I’m pretty sure it was just because he soiled his depends. Would not recommend this smelly location. Hopefully they find some more able bodied employees."
"Amazing customer service experience. I had purchased a decently big ticket item and there was an issue with how the manufacturer sent the product upon unboxing. It was disheartening, but I went back and the staff at Buikema’s Ace fixed my issue on the spot. This is off th beaten path for me, but I will be back for sure!"
