"PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. THIS IS AN HONEST REVIEW. I helped my mom move here the last day of January 2024. She officially moved out the end of February 2024. She could only stand living there for 3 weeks for several reasons: 1. The building in invested with COCKROACHES. She would wake up to them crawling on her wall, bathtub, sinks, and in her kitchen while she cooked. 2. Her washer was broken the first day she moved in and it took 2 weeks to fix. 3. The lock to her door was not working and as result she did not feel safe and ended up sleeping at a friend's house, since the lock would probably take weeks to be fixed. 5. She signed her lease the the last week of January but did not move in until Jan. 31st, and was told January and the month of February would be free. She was charged over $300 for January even though she didn't officially move in, and was even charged for the month of February AND March though she is already moved out. I tried calling the office countless times and left a message to clarify these absurd charges and NEVER heard from them. It's almost impossible to get a hold of anyone there, and as a result we went ahead and paid over $2,000 so we could officially move on from the Commons and not have that huge bill hanging on my mom's shoulder. Commons Management if you are reading this - please know I will be trying to get a hold of higher up management as I feel you all need some help. I know it's not your fault the place is invested with roaches and you are just trying to do your job and get people moved in - but it's also important to be honest and it's unethical to have these Seniors move into a home with roaches. Moving out is expensive and so are the fees you charge, which I still don't understand because I cannot get a hold of anyone - many people cannot just move out like my mom did. This was only possible because of family financial support. Please do better for your residents!"

"So my mother lives here and for two months nobody has been in the office to handle any concerns about rent or maintenance. We've called several times and still no call back or manager on duty during office hours. Don't just walk away sprint away. This has to be the most unorganized place I've ever heard of. If you don't believe the reviews move into this place and you'll live it."

"Don't move in. We haven't had a refrigerator for a month. The manager told us that we'll get it when it comes in. When we ask if they can swap one with an empty apartments she rolled her eyes and scuff at us We have water damages going several years back. Theres a hole in the ceiling. Also have roaches and bed bugs. If I can leave a zero star review I would."

"My mother has lived in this complex for a couple years now and her back door is not properly sealed and water comes through it whenever it rains. My mother said she has repeatedly asked to have the door repaired and it still has not. I was just at my mother's apartment July 11th and her back door is still taped up which is unacceptable. Also, the manager's (Denise) attitude is not suitable for working with the elderly or in customer service. My mother suffers from mental issues and severe anxiety and depression. She is on disability due to these conditions and Denise constantly yells at my mother, threatens to evict her when my mother refuses to back date documents pertaining to her rent payments. My mother is on section 8 and Denise shouldn't even be harassing my mother about the rent and making eviction threats. I will be making formal complaints in any way I possibly can because the way this lady treats my mother and other residents, is unacceptable. I get regular calls from my mother, upset because this woman has verbally abused her. This complex already has a deplorable rating of 1.3 which confirms what I'm saying. The other reviews are accurate, based off of what I have seen when I visit my mother."

"**UPDATE** I've now referred this to legal representation. This equates to elder abuse, and my attorney agrees. My mother rented from this place for a year. Never, ever was she ever late on rent. Never was there any kind of issue until she turned in her notice to vacate. A number of things occurred after her notice was given. Approximately a week and a half before her last day, she entered her apartment to discover an eviction notice was given. For what, you may ask? Well for the $10 parking spot she'd given up a month before. That's right...they were going to evict her over a $10 charge, for a parking spot she'd already given up. In fact, another resident was already parking there. To culminate this, when she went in to inquire about her $150 deposit, Denise, the manager claimed my mother had destroyed her carpets. As the photos indicate, the only thing on those carpets are the vacuum cleaner marks from her cleaning it. My mother is an immaculate housekeeper, and the carpets had not so much of a stain on them. At this point, even though it is just $150 involved, I'm contemplating contacting an attorney that specializes in elder abuse. Not only has she been accused of "wrecking" the carpet that was in the apartment, she was told the majority of the deposit would be applied to "clean" the carpet....not only that, according to State law, the complex should have had her deposit within 30 days. It has now been 32."
