"From the outside looking in. This place may seem nice, but don't be fooled! I have family that lives here. The day they moved in. Apartment was horrible! Dishwasher didn't work. Tub didn't work in hall bathroom. Toilet didnt work in master bath. Outlets were VERY loose and everything had to be taped to ensure plugs would stay in outlet. Nasty poopy fingerprints ran up and down the doorframe of the tiny area where tub and toilet sit in hall bathroom. Wasp nest in windows and windows with no screen. Missing baseboards in kitchen. Its crazy, cause I can list so much more. And all of this on move-in day. Parking spots are very tiny. Garages are VERY tiny. Took MONTHS of work orders just to get the dishwasher fixed. Save yourself the headache. Better places are out there!"

"This place has gone down hill, and fast! When we first moved in it was a great community. The manager Candy Walker was amazing. She helped us all the time and was always friendly and easy to talk to. Once she left the whole community went down the drain. Once the new manager came in she turned the place into a place people don’t even like to live in anymore. She is very unprofessional, always wearing pajamas, and has the nerve to yell at residents. When we had complaints we never were heard or believed only people she liked, she listened to. We never had problems before but once she came it was as if we were watched every second of the day. We were told about things that her kid was doing. Her own kid doesn’t pick up their dog wast but then she blames us or other people. When we had the coldest night of the year our heater went out which is an emergency and we called, sent emails, and reported it the right way and no one ever came. My wife, kids, and I had to huddle in one room to keep warm. The next day when we wrote to the company on FB of all places, we got a response. They told us we couldn’t do, and that we had to call and fill out maintenance reports which we did the night before! After that correspondence the manager Constance came over yelling at my wife about reporting it to the office. We had to move out because of her, and I am saying because of her because she lies and schemes to get rid of people. If this place gets new management maybe it’ll get better but for now be warned if you decide to move here, the management is horrible and so is the company! They’re in it to make money and show no compassion to their residents."

"I LOVE Burnett Place Apartments. My children and I have lived here for 2 years and we absolutely love it! (And trust me, I've lived in some bad cities and complexes). It's quiet, it's clean, it's family friendly. I'd read some very old reviews about these apartments saying how horrible they were. But those reviews were all OLD. BEFORE the current manager took over. SHE is the reason these apartments have become as great as they are. She is awesome! She loves her tenants. And we love her! My children love it here. There are a lot of kids. It's safe for them to play. There is a beautiful pool. A play scape for the kids. Activities in the office for tenants and kids. I checked this place out before I moved here from the Southeast Texas area. And it was the best decision I have made for my kids and myself. DO NOT listen to any of the negative reviews. Especially anything before October 2015. That is when the current manager took over and she has cleaned this place up and made it a GREAT place to live. This place is AWESOME."

"Recently I went to the leasing office to inquire about getting a one bedroom one bathroom apartment. I was informed that because I was a student, I was ineligible to live there. Despite the fact that I had proof of income (I get a monthly amount from using the GI bill) and also that I get monthly disability because I am a disabled veteran, the lady refused to even show me a room. She kept stating that students were not allowed to live there because the government has so many more options for them. Turning away a disabled veteran that is trying to further their education is absolutely disgraceful. I had no other problems at any other apartments I looked at, no one else fed me the kind of story that this place told me."
