Skyview North Apartments

"As someone who is in the apartment industry, I’ve lived here for 2 years now and my experience has been amazing. I actually move around quite a bit being in the industry and this is the first time I renewed somewhere bc I love it. Management is very friendly. Taylor, the manager, has gone above and beyond for me a couple of times now. To touch base on some of the negative reviews, I feel lucky that my family nearby had power outages and I haven’t when they have, any fees they do have are standard across the board at all complexes, and I haven’t had any issues with bugs aside from the standard that you’ll see in Texas and even then, it’s been extremelyyyy rare. I also haven’t had any crime issues here which is surprising bc that’s been a bit of the norm for Austin and surrounding areas. Maintenance have always come pretty instant as well and they’re so nice! As for the apartment itself, it has a ton of natural lighting and even at night there’s a lot of lighting with the windows open thanks to the community being well lit (I also face the pool though). I love the finishes and how spacious it is. Overall, I highly recommend living here!"

"This is my partner and I’s first time getting a place of our own together. We had a lot of worries and hesitation at first when it came to looking around for good apartments in our budget/price range. We looked at a few in the Hutto and Round Rock area that didn’t draw us in, but Skyview North really fit our needs and wants for apartment living. The office staff (especially Shelia) have all been very thorough/up front and so helpful setting up our lease and answering any questions we have. Our 1 bed 1 bath unit is so spacious with tons of storage for my partner and I. We look forward to our time here and can’t wait to see what the future holds!"

"First off the office staff is amazing. I like to know everything upfront and not be hit with any unknown fees. They went over everything and then gave me a tour. I needed a two bedroom and I loved how they offer a split floor plan. Secondly the apartment location is perfect!! Right by Heb and near to Round Rock and close to Austin. Definitely on the top of my list."

"The changes in apartment management have significantly improved my living experience and all the concerns I ever bring up have been addressed! The new managers definitely care and make sure to help out / very responsive with making positive changes with any concerns brought up. Maintenance is amazing as well!! They even host cute events for the community especially around holidays. I enjoy all of the amenities including the gym and pool especially at night because it’s peaceful and the lights give it a nice relaxing vibe after a long day. I feel 100% safe to the point of I’m fine with walking around in the middle of the night and the area is right in the middle of Austin, round round, hutto and Pflugerville. I definitely recommend these apartments as they are very spacious as well."

"I have lived at the property 9 months, and my review is based off building 4, two bedroom plan on middle floor. I mention my building/plan and floor because I very much believe the location in any apartment and the tenants around you make your experience. Building 4 is right off the entrance off of 138, at the gate and right near the pool/amenities. The pool and gym are awesome, and in the summer, you will never see an empty pool, and even during the Fall, you will always see someone BBQing at the pit. The gym has almost all your basic needs for your workout. If you plan it right, you will miss the regulars (they always go at specific times), you basically have an empty gym to yourself. Be aware that if you do not like noise, do not stay near the pool. The windows are good, but you will be able to hear activity which is very normal at any apartment. The 2 floor plans options (1 vs 2 bd) are both spacious and upgraded for appliances/flooring . The Square footage on both the 1 bed and 2 bed are fantastic, and because it's open concept, it feels even bigger. You are 15 minutes away from Austin, about a minute from Round Rock and Pflugerville. It’s a great location as it’s near enough to everything but out of the "big" city. Management and maintenance are very responsive and very pro-tenant. There are guidelines and rules to this community, and management very much plays good and bad cop, as needed. They want you to enjoy where you live, but not force you out by overbearing rules or too lax of rules. As mentioned, the tenants make your experience. If you live next door where they leave their trash out during the day, take your carport spot or possibly not pick up after their dogs, the tenant is at fault however, the management will step in if you let them know. As for cost, you can get cheaper or same price in Austin, but you lose safety and sq footage and the area which were my priorities. I want to see what I am paying for and feel safe which is what you get here. There is traffic and construction near the apartment at times, but it’s specific times of the day (5pm-7pm /7am-8am..give or take), which you can easily avoid. This is a very safe and child friendly complex. I see children always playing at the playground and pool, and see families walking around the complex for exercise. Since more carports have been constructed, parking is limited overnight. You have parking, but you will have to walk if you come in after 7 or 8 at night. There are two entrances on each side of every building so that helps if you park further. The gates seems to be the biggest issue, even over limited parking for residents. Tailgating is pretty common, and the gate is hit at least once or twice a month however, that is very common for gated apartments and neighborhoods. With the flooring, noise does seem to be amplified so be mindful if you live above someone should you have children playing inside or if you live below someone...their is a chance you will hear your neighbors more than not...depending on who is above you which again...very common for apartment living. I personally never experienced any serious issues, and I would recommend living here to anyone (old or young and families or single) and would absolutely stay here long-term if my goal was to not get a house. I lived at my apartment prior for 10 years so I definitely aim to settle when I move into places and this apartment had potential."
