"I really enjoyed living here! Highly recommended if you are looking for an apartment in this area and price range. Quick and easy access to I-35 and Mopac makes for an easy drive to just about anywhere. One of the gate exits leads you straight onto the main road so you get to skip a lot of the morning traffic. The general area is also very walkable. Staff is kind and responsive. Leasing and maintenance teams took good care of us while living here. Neighbors are also friendly and diverse, which I like a lot. First apartment community I've lived at with spacious parking. Never had a problem finding a spot outside my front door. I lived on the ground floor with hard floors. Carpet only in the bedroom. Full size washer and dryer, plus your standard kitchen appliances. Ceiling was tall (maybe 10 ft). Main highlight for me was the bathroom. I'm pretty tall so I really liked my giant shower / tub area. I enjoyed my time here and did not experience any negatives outside of standard apartment living, but that's everywhere :)"

"The apartment is beautiful and completely exceeded our expectations. The management and service team did too! Just moved in and we had a couple minor issues that were resolved immediately with lots of communication. They have been really really helpful in making us feel comfortable, prioritized, and at home. "I've been a resident of the Villas Tech Ridge since 2016(?)- whichever- way too long. However, when COVID hit and limited housing I decided to stay put. Although, the cost of rent has gone up- I am willing to pay the cost just to get away from this property. The office staff is a joke and with no concern for their tenants- we suffer in the end. At all cost I make it my business not to have any dealings with the staff. However, in this particular instance I had to as my packages were being stolen from delivery. I have a great fear of dogs and walking into the office one came charging at me. I shouted my fear and was given a response of laughter. Finally Jennifer (manager) retrieved her dog while laughing with her staff. At no point was this funny. I proceeded to email Omar Flores (Asset Manager) who responded, apologized, and remind her the dog was not allowed in the office. Big joke. The dog remained and shortly after the change in management Jennifer was given the property manager's position. I don't like confrontation but I will make you feel my absence by taking my hard earned money to another establishment to be happy and away from this foolishness. The overall property has gone down as "anyone" is allowed to move in. The disrespect of neighbors, the loud after hours drunk pool parties, blocking of garages and ready to fight when you ask them to move- no- this is not how I want to live. This could actually be a good property and place to live but the first thing is to redo the office staff and management, hold people accountable, and have the ability to run a property with dignity and integrity. As I'm not willing to stay with hopes of it getting better- I'm in the process of looking before the renewal of my lease. If you have other options- take them and don't move here."

"I believe we moved here in July. The apartment itself has been wonderful. One issue we had here a few months ago involved an electric wiring problem that was determined to be a serious fire hazard — we had to advocate for ourselves so much before the maintenance staff agreed to have an electrician come out and fix the issue. When the electrician came, he was astounded with how bad it was and told me that we were close to having a fire. In the beginning we had almost no complaints, though now we are no longer happy with our choice of living here. The pedestrian gates don’t work— the codes we were given don’t consistently open the gates. There is at least one gate that only opens from the inside when manually manipulated—— another huge fire hazard. God forbid something happens and we cannot get out of the complex using the pedestrian gates. The gate getting into the pool and office area from building 5 has a door handle that has been broken since before we moved in (in July). During our final tour before moving in, we were told that it would be fixed the following week which was obviously untrue. Changing management companies has been a rough ride. They moved over to a guest parking system that makes you PAY for guest parking if the same car has been registered to park any more than 4 days in a whole month. I’ve NEVER lived anywhere that has had this fee…. And we were forced to agree to this fee when we registered our own cars. Additionally, with the management company change, they have been making unnecessary “improvements” that has resulted in not having access to amenities such as the clubhouse and gym for over a month SO FAR. It was originally communicated that the gym would be open at the end of December, though currently at the end of January, it is still closed. It wouldn’t be as much of an issue for me personally if the office staff would just communicate. They often do not do so when it comes to a lot of the changes. Me and my roommate only seem to get updates about the state of things and any changes by asking direct questions to the office staff— not generally through emails to the community. I am quite sad that my opinion has changed so much about living here. I am not sure there’s much that can be done at this point to get it back to being positive. Please beware, ask questions, and know your rights before committing to a lease here."

"I recently moved into Villas Tech Ridge and the management was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire leasing process. They organize special events for the whole community. The maintenance team is efficient and attentive. They're always on top of requests, ensuring that any issues are resolved in a timely manner. The grounds are consistently well-kept, and the common areas are always clean. The property is quiet and safe. Neighbors are friendly. I highly recommend Villas Tech Ridge to anyone seeking a quality living experience."
