He has seen us through all kinds of illnesses and injuries, from the typical fever/flu to stitches, surgeries, and more complex heart conditions. His ability to connect with our kids is unmatched - they absolutely adore him!! He can be silly with my younger ones but more impressively he can speak with my pre-teens in a way that makes them feel respected and heard. "Dr. G is amazing!! I don't know who loves her more - my kids or me? I thought my kids needed a new pediatrician, but it turns out, I needed a new pediatrician. What a great feeling to know I've got someone on my team who is as invested in my kids health as much as i am. She really takes the time to dig deeper and get to the root of an issue. No matter what I bring up, she's got a solution that is simple and fun and hat the kids love. She spent over an hour with my son at his last visit answering so many questions - some just about how a machine worked. When he was scared about a shot, she turned on a bubble machine, put essential oils on a tissue so he could smell a scent and waited patiently until he was ready. When he said he doesn't like vegetables, she told him the benefits of broccoli. I kid you not, he has asked for broccoli (and enjoyed it) almost every day since. And he loves repeating the benefits she shared with him. She's guided me through parenting tactics, intrinsic motivation techniques, nutrition ideas, and so much more. I cannot recommend Dr. Gonzalez highly enough!!"
