"If you're looking for down home classic country this is the place! It is an institution! Had breakfast and the fries, the eggs, the sausage, even the bagel were great. Prices were a LOT higher than I expected, and of course the environment is about as far from updated, clean, or modern as one could imagine. But I suppose that's why they have survived so long and is part of the charm."
"It really is a hidden gem! My husband and I stopped in there for breakfast and the food did not disappoint. Their French toast is probably the best I’ve ever had. It’s from their own recipe from scratch and it is truly so good! We did wait a little bit for our food but it was busy so that’s okay. My only complaint is the amount of flies in the place. I was so worried about their being one in my food. I think there were at least 30 flies in the place while we ate. I know they probably can’t help it because of people coming in and out, but that part grossed me out. I will still come back because the breakfast food was so good."
"This is a great place for breakfast, which is served all day. Their French toast is really good. The sausage patties are formed by hand. The eggs are cooked precisely.. and they have Ski in the soda fountain. Atmosphere is that of a family diner. Could probably use some TLC but that's part of the charm. Staff is very friendly and attentive.portion size is great relative to the money spent. Good place to take the family due to the amount of.options in the menu."
