Mimi's Cafe

"$40 for a steak and egg breakfast after tip is out of line in my opinion. Steak was advertised as aged beef and it clearly was not and of lower quality IMO. The server was polite and overall pleasant and the food was quick. I would spend my money elsewhere"

"We used to love going to Mimi's, yet not anymore. We recently had dinner here and it appears they have decided to make many cutbacks. 1. The starter bread was a few small pieces of very plain bread with margarine. One slice was burnt. No offer to refill our basket. 2. The prices are double what they used to be. Everything on the menu is at least $15 3. Portions are smaller. You would think if you paid $20 for a meal it would be overflowing the plate. Instead we felt like we were at Steak n Shake with minimal portion sizes or items served on a shallow plate instead of a deeper bowl. 4. We were still hungry and ordered a plate of French toast for dessert. The bread selection was very small, the fruit toppings were minimal. Summary: We spent $60 and left hungry. Unfortunately one of our favorite places to go has been scrapped from our date list. I pray the owners will see my review and the full parking lot next door and decide that you can't cut your way to success and instead choose to create an incredible experience while providing value to their customers."

"My family and I ate lunch here today. The food was so delicious my husband and my mom had hibachi salmon it was AMAZING!! I had the chicken pot pie it was so delicious too. Our server was Chris and he was efficient and very helpful. We enjoyed our first experience here today and we'll definitely be back. Hopefully we'll have Chris as our server again he was outstanding!"

"Mimi’s Cafe is one of the places that always have us leaving full and happy. This visit has me, my kids (9Years boy and 7years girl) and my brother in law. I honestly thought this would be different because we had a new server and thought he won’t provide us with the the service we are used to, but we were wrong. It was an excellent service. I had the corned beef hash Benedict which was on point. The yolk was as runny as it could specially that was how I requested it to be, potatoes were flavourful and soft, English muffins crispy. No complaints there. My son ordered the chicken and waffles which he loved and shared with his sister and still was able to have some back with him. My daughter has the kid’s pancakes she also loved specially the way it was presented. And finally, the brother in law ordered the egg white croissant breakfast sandwich with a side of turkey sausage. It looked good and he devoured it all. We got few thing back for the ones that couldn’t make it here and they were so happy with their choices. 2 muffins and an order of French toast. This is one of the places that I’d recommend to go for, specifically for breakfast and brunch. The other menus are good but we mostly visit during day time."

"A great place to enjoy brunch in a relaxed manner. We ordered quite a variety of items starting from your toast through chicken wings, and every single one of them was great. Nice ambience. Located in the valley area, which has shopping and other dining options."
