Trattoria Tiramisu

"The food here is AMAZING, and I love it. But the restaurant lost some points for me yesterday… it was my birthday and I wanted dinner here with my friends. I called the night before to make a reservation and was told “no need come on in and we’ll get you seated no problem”. The next day (night of dinner) my friend called 30 minutes before we planned on going, just to check and make sure, and was told the same thing. We both talked to a lady. We walked in at 6:00 and saw people sitting and waiting for a table, and were told it would be a 50 minute wait. We brought up the fact that we called TWICE and were told we’d be seated no problem. The young man went to the back to talk to someone, another young man came up and just said sorry but it’s going to be 50 minutes we weren’t planning on being this busy. We asked to sit at the bar, he said it’s full. Don’t tell people not to make a reservation then and to come on in we’ll be seated no problem!!! You never know how busy you could be!!! Very frustrating. It’s a Saturday night, everywhere is now busy. We tried two other restaurants in the area, all had long waits. Had to squeeze up and sit at a bar in order to get dinner. That was my birthday dinner with friends. Very disappointed in this whole experience."

"02/22/2024 Went with a group of 16. The food was very fresh!!! And delicious. We had wine, apps, salads, meals. Everything was perfect. The service was top notch. Excellent service! So glad we chose the restaurant! The price was excellent as well."

"Went in on Valentine’s Day knowing full well we did not have a reservation. We were given a time frame of when we might get a table. We were sat within that time frame. Staff were amazing! Our server was so nice and personable, he even kept checking in even in the huge rush of a busy Valentine’s Day. The bread was amazing, and I am talking fresh bread. The fried raviolis had cheese that melted in your mouth instead of pulling and being overtly greasy, I would 100% recommend them. Our food came out incredibly fast, perfectly made. Not only are the prices incredibly reasonable but also taste amazing. This place has Italian food market cornered in the quad cities. Will be back"

"Service was incredible, our waiter took our daughters (3yrs) order early to let it cool and be served with our own plates; polite, incredibly clean, and calm atmosphere. I had the fettuccine with Alfredo sauce and chicken, my boyfriend had the Parmasan chicken, and our daughter had a personal pizza. Plus the pricing was incredibly fair with big portions."

"The food was amazing. We loved every bit of it. We would love more dessert variety if possible tho. The food was perfectly cooked and service was really nice. UPDATE: We ate here yesterday again and it’s still the best Italian restaurant here in the Quad Cities that I’ve been to. Still 5-stars. They’re watching social distancing as well due to the pandemic. I didn’t even notice that there were a lot of people eating already when I saw all the cars parked outside. The place was clean and still cozy as before, and the service was amazing."
