"I stopped in for Midtown Market on a Saturday. Trinadora we're playing, the vendors were set up, and the place was decked out for the holidays. Great atmosphere. This place is the heart of Midtown."
"Okay I love this place. Of all the coffee houses in Rockford this is the one that I will drive across town for even if it's just a stop in and pick up a cup of black coffee. Friendly staff, great selection of coffee related drinks, excellent sandwiches, salads and my favorite fall/winter is their chili! I will admit I'm biased Katie's cup is the place to meet and make friends in Midtown Rockford. One of my favorite dishes is "The Wittenberg Plate" Full of fresh cut cucumbers, celery, carrots, pitta, black olives and a side of hummus gives you just what you need and nothing you don't. Excellent to share or keep all to yourself! Second favorite is the breakfast Protein Plate. A hard boiled egg, peanut butter toast, cheese stick and some fruit makes a great inexpensive breakfast with your hot cup of coffee. Very nice place to meet with a team and grab coffee and food. Great Christmas atmosphere!"

"We simply ordered a mocha for each of us. We usually 'coffee' at a well-known chain. Their drink is better and more consistent. A very comfortable atmosphere and we love the free library and bookstore. Clean restrooms. We live almost an hour away, but plan to visit often. The food menu is very inviting. We will try it next time. Also admirable are things they do for the community."
"The staff was nice and helpful and the atmosphere was great. However, my mango smoothie was WAY too sweet, actually cloying. This next isn't Katie's fault, but the location's. It would be nice if there was a parking lot instead of having to go out and re-park every two hours, since this is a venue the public is encouraged to linger at. All in all, though, this is a place I would like to come to again and again."
