"Honest review and opinion with documentation & receipts: Would not recommend. Rent keeps rising. Roaches are rampant and you have to pay pest control yourself, it does get very costly. The apartments are very old and smelly, with terrible old AC units that are small and will on occasion, leak. Our roof had tons of leaks, gets moldy! Especially after a hail storm. Every few months, the roofs on these buildings have had to be repaired. Most often, there is nothing new or updated in the apartments. Our mailbox door fell off more than three times, leaving our mail exposed. Our Amazon packages have been stolen from our front door. The washer and dryer connections are outside and inconvenient. Plumbing was often unreliable. Doors fall off the hinges or get stuck possibly because the foundation is unsteady and is showing cracking upstairs and downstairs? Old wiring, a unit caught on fire recently, but few were never notified why or how it happened. Police are regulars. Neighbors were loud and can be found outside smoking marijuana or making noise. Its located down the street from a fire department but plan to hear the sirens Every. 30. Minutes. Or So. Also, we heard gunshots at night, very often as people hunt for deer at Salado creek."
