"This place has gone downhill. We ordered cheese sticks and got more sticks then cheese. Call to talk to someone, put on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up. Giving feedback through company email is a joke. My reward was $3 off a large or $2 off medium. I even left my phone number for a call back to explain about my cheese sticks and how I felt I got robbed, but not 1 person had called me. Use to love this place and pizza but now it's overpriced, and lack of ingredients. Godfathers at beck's will get all my orders now. Updated 1-4-2024 still have not received any response from the owner or the manager. I guess they don't mind losing customers. What was the point of me taking a survey, that was emailed to me, asking how your company did, and leaving my number hoping for a call back? The product has gone down hill, quality, and good customer service. Joe Whitti would be rolling over in his grave."

"Happy Joes has always been a favorite of ours, but not every Happy Joes are the same and that showed here. This was the 1st and probably the only time I will be eating here. While the food tasted decent, the rest was questionable to say the least. Dirty tables in an empty restaurant with multiple employees, and FLIES everywhere! On the windows, landing on the tables, the plates etc. Took our granddaughter for dinner and cups of broken crayons to color with, chewed on, just overall so disappointed with this one! Make an effort to bring people back. This establishment needs updated in the worst way."

"I had the lunch buffet with my sister, I loved the pasta and the mashed potatoes with bacon. Small yet offered variety as they had waffle fries, Chicken bites, 4 small pizzas and the whole salad bar and the waitress was nice."

"The taco pizza was one of my favorites from back in my teen years living in Iowa. So I drove about 40 miles out of my way to eat here and it was good but the flavors seemed off. The crust however is wonderfully crisp outside but airy on the bite and chew. Would probably try this again but maybe a different location."

"Never had a taco pizza before til now.. the crust was nice and slightly crispy, the toppings were sausage, tomatoes, chopped lettuce, crushed up seasoned tortilla chips, and a good taco sauce you can put on top. The wings were seasoned and fried just right.. there's a modal train that circles above the main dining room. Wherever the train stops if it stops in a spot where it says free ice cream, free small size pizza, or a free soda you win that prize. But you had to be the one who put the quarter in for the train to run to win. Happy Joe's pizzeria is a family, friendly environment.. clean restaurant, polite and attentive service's just overall great experience. When ever I'm back in kewanee I will be back"
