"Beautiful house and property! The house is fully stocked with all the necessities (and more) and has a great layout! We were a group of mom's getting away for the weekend and had such a fun and relaxing time! There is so much to do on property that we didn't even get around to half of it. Definitely planning to book again!!! Highly recommended!"

"The retreat at Hempstead was the perfect place to have our wedding ceremony and reception. We had a small group of 40 people come out and celebrate with us. Many of our guest were asking how we found such a beautiful place. Our wedding was beautiful and the weather was amazing the whole weekend. Tracey and Jennifer were so kind to let us do mock setups before the big day to help ease my stress on planning. The retreat was beautiful and I will recommend it to anyone who will listen! "Our group had a great time. The pond was well stop with fish so once I figured out what the best bait was catching a fish was easy. I caught 4 good size fish of various types. It is a catch and release pond. The only drawback was the lack of pool or other way to cool down since it was a very hot weekend."

"We hosted our wedding at the Retreat at Hempstead, and it was absolutely amazing! From the interactions with Tracy and Jennifer (who maintained consistent contact through the entire process, and were incredible to work with), to the facilities (the gorgeous house we stayed in and the Retreat Hall/Barn), to the grounds (beautiful part of Hempstead surrounded by trees with an enchanting pond) - we could not have been more pleased! We and our close family stayed for the weekend, which allowed us to celebrate with our family for more than the 6-8 hours than a venue normally provides. If you're considering staying here, you should go ahead and book - this place (and the owners) are fantastic!"
