"Dr. Wheeler is amazing but his staff alone ruins his office. I have private primary insurance and my sons appt was canceled without my knowledge because his secondary was a Medicaid plan they do not accept. I've never had an issue with it until now."
"We first met Dr Wheeler at the hospital when we overheard him explaining a medical procedure to scared, new parents. He was VERY informative and kind. He then visited with us in the hospital after our son was born and he seemed the perfect fit, as we'd been looking for someone since our beloved Jarvis Bull retired. Dr Wheeler cares the most about the patient (the kids), looks at TOTAL care aspects, such as mental health, at home environment, protecting against predators, reinforcing sleep and outside time importance, everything you can think of that you're repeating to your kids daily. Great doctor. He won't shy away from giving parents news they don't want to hear like - you should be doing something differently. He just does right by his patients. I can't say enough. Great Pediatrician."
"Shame on whoever gave a 1-star just because of office/administrative issues for which Dr. Wheeler has no control. My son has been seeing Dr. Wheeler since he was born and we really enjoy him. He has a great bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. We will continue to keep him as our doctor for our son and any children in the future!"
