The Colony Apartments

"Walked in to the front office exited to see what y’all have to offer unfortunately as soon as we walked in we got a bad vibe. The lady in the front office this past Saturday was extremely rude and uninviting we noticed how she talked to one of the tenets and we did not like it we felt it was very rude and unprofessional. We decided to just leave without even talking to her she never even acknowledge us no greeting or anything as if we were ghost we ultimately decided if that’s how we were treated when we first walked in how would the rest of the stay have gone and if that’s how you treat a resident i definitely wouldn’t want to live there knowing I could be treated the same way. I can’t even say anything about the community or the apartment units themselves because unfortunately we never even got that far."

"They showed us one apartment and gave us another. We were supposed to have laminate floors, but they provided an apartment entirely carpeted. I was fine not paying extra for upgraded appliances, but seriously? Our apartment is nothing like the one they showed us. I had to scrub the walls and closets, and it still smells weird; the water was disgusting. On top of that, there are roaches, and we are stuck living next to people who blast their music at maximum volume and regularly smoke weed. Instead of addressing the problem, they sprayed our AC filters with essential oils. Management could not care less. Edit: Despite numerous reports, there has still been no effort made to address the constant day and night marijuana inhalation. They do not respond to emails, and it doesn't matter if you go in person—management does not care."

"Very forgiving and nice. Good maintenance and good service. This is my first time out of my parents house and I'm glad I chose the colony. With low prices and cheap laundry centers, I can get by just fine, especially when it's located so close to essentials like grocery stores, gas stations, churches, pet facilities, public libraries, and more."

"I just recently moved out, not cause we had something negative about The Colony Apartments but because we bought a new house. If it wasn’t for this, we would have lived here for more years to come. They have very nice and courteous management and staff. They keep this place very cleaned and managed right. The apartments are well maintained, and if something breaks or needs fixing, you let them know and they will fix it right away. Never had any bad issues with pests. The place gets fumigated constantly. The environment is perfect for families with young kids. You can go out and ride your bike or walk with your kids. It was perfect for us during the pandemic, when you couldn’t go out to the streets. The place is safe and neighbors are friendly. The trees and landscape is perfect for those evening walks, without putting yourself at risk on the streets. There’s plenty of room here. They also have a picnic area where you can have that family gathering and BBQ at the same time. The pools are clean and always maintained, this was one of our good times here. All I can say, if you pick the Colony to be your home, you will make a good decision. Specially if you have family. The place is awesome!!!"
