"Property floods, you loose all your belongings and they dont care no compassion and dont fix the drainage issues. Claim renters insurance will fix it. A company from California came in sent a retaliatory landlord who tried to evict everyone saying they didn't pay. when they did everyone had pay stubs it didnt work. Theyre trying to run people out so they can gouge the prices so now theyre retaliating more by neglecting serious repairs from flood damages. My cats catch about 23 rats a month. Its horrible."

"I have lived here almost a year now and enjoyed it up till this last week. I have never done anything to anyone including apartment manager when I happen to be walking my service dog when my apartment manager and family who lives here as well drove up behind my wheelchair and scared me half to death. They both attacked me out of know where never having issues with them before and very intimidating ghetto like verbally blasted me and apartment manager threatened me saying she was office manager and could say or do what ever she wanted to do because she was the apartment manager. Very Unprofessional and Traumatizing for me. To treat me like that just because I am disabled and in a wheelchair ♿. There is no longer any maintenance and is not handicap accessible. Corporate has not return my calls. Have filed police report and disability rights complaint. I may be disabled ♿ but, I am a person too I deserve to be treated with respect they way I treat others."

"I recently spoke with Ms. Jessica about the 2 bedroom bungalow that’s available. She told me to commute to the property and meet with a Mr. Frank and give him the $600 money order for my deposite. He refused to accept it because he said it was not available because his friend was moving in. Frank smelled like alcohol and was very unprofessional. I emailed management but to no avail"

"Horrible experience with management and getting work orders completed, I see there was a issue with revolving management for some time. I moved out in Dec 2021 and cannot get anyone to respond about my deposit. I had rats and roaches my entire 2 years there. Don't recommend, although the elementary school is wonderful - there's better rentals close by as well."

"I moved to Aberdeen Acres in April of 2021. It had just been purchased by a company in CA with local management here in Texas. The owners were kept in the dark as to what was needed by the management company and were borderline corrupt for both this property and its sister property The Bowie. One year later the owners took over and despite the slow start things started to improve. The parking lot was repaved; much needed evictions took place and more on-site personnel were hired. The BEST decision the company made was hiring Frank Camero for maintenance and management. He truly cares about the tenants and is an immediate responder to tenants needs. While I am still debating renewing for another year (I want a house), if it weren’t for Frank I would be gone. If you move here, be patient. The company is trying but major repairs have a long wait."
