South Point Apartments

"When i started the application process I had a hard time getting a hold of the office lady. No big deal. Once i got approved to move in the lady tells me the 6th. On the 6th I have my car loaded with my packed things and arrive at the office to sign, give the money orders, and move in. Once I get there she tells me she has bad news. The apartment isn’t ready because the contractors are behind and because someone is still living in the apartment. She didn’t bother to call me before hand, and it’s just very annoying to have everything ready on my side and have them be so unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Edit: a hour after posting the review the lady called me and said “I’m guessing by the review you’re not moving in?” Just goes to show the type of establishment this is lol"

"I've been living here 9 or 10 years now, and not once have I been late on rent, I don't know why it didn't go through.. Yet she was quick to let me know I had to move,  but when I need some fixed there's no answer.. My kitchen cabinets are corroded , maintenence told me it was alot of work and they let her know, so when I go ask her she says "she wasn't aware of the situation ", but yet she is on top of telling me I need to move. So I asked her what about fixing the issues. Either way it needs to be fixed, I will report this to housing authorities. Oh and she asked if I could go back next day I said no and she shut the door , I have a witness to this because this person was standing next to me. They should put the real pictures of the apartments , instead of the ones show on website"

"After Maria and Matthew left this place fell apart. Office staff is never there the maintenance never fixes anything and the free cable they advertise you still have to pay for the cable box and it’s terrible. Nora is never there and if you tell her something you have reminded her because she doesn’t care. A/C goes out, Black mold, Roaches, bed bugs, Parking sucks, Laundry mat is unusable, And the people steal and argue all night because their mostly all low income. You know the place is horrible when they tell you you’re the only one that pays rent on time."

"I have lived here 5 yrs and management is very helpful and understanding. These ladies are a blessing to me. Any maintenance issues that have been emailed and called in by myself have always been completed in a reasonable time. As for noise complaints and parking, we would all wish that as a community and neighbors we could all have that common courtesy but unfortunately not."

"I moved in November and this place doesnt do anything on fixing anything since i moved in i have told the office about everything thats wrong in my apartment i went thru the winter with a broken window and my apartment was super cold with no heater and then the door is all broken doesnt close and then the refrigerator is all rusted and making loud noises and then from that the shower the paint is peeling and no nob for the hot water and then the stove is all nasty wasnt clean when i moved in i have pictures and everything and each time i tell the office about all this they dont do anything about it and look at all the black mold this place is so disgusting and not worth living and the lady at the office name nora always giving us excuses telling us ill put a work order n nothing happens then she wants to be harassing us about it dont ever live here this place never fix anything in my apartment they need a better office manager cause nora doesnt do anything at all keep away from these apartments and plus they kept my deposit"
