"By far, the worst apartment we’ve ever lived in. Ridgemont properties, which owns Townsend Place apartments is a slum lord company taking advantage of its tenants. There were soooo many layers of bad patchwork from years/decades of neglect and subpar contractors working there it was overwhelming how bad of condition this place considered normal. The place was pest haven with rats, roaches and ants too. Plus consistent leaks that flooded our closet. Number of times when it rains. Since there is so much moisture from bad leaks, soaked walls in the hvac closet, no moisture vent systems in the showers, etc, - mold was a constant issue too. The staff were nice but they left us with a toilet leaking dirty toilet water, a tub that leaked water behind the walls every time we showered and a number of other maintenance requests left unaddressed for 3-4 months last summer! This parent company is absolute garbage to leave affordable housing in the condition they did."

"This company place is not even deserving of a 1 star review. The apartment itself is old so things like chipped paint, squeaky floors is expected. HOWEVER, unanswered maintenance request and lack of communication by the management is unacceptable. Their complete disregard to address concerns that can be harmful and a safety hazard to their residents shows their lack of care and complete laziness from the office staff and management. I enjoyed this apartment while I could however, it is not a safe place to be. The problems that are in the apartment are not addressed for weeks even months at a time. It is unfortunate, however if you are reading this and living in through this please write an honest review and get the attention we need from the city. They need to be stopped from just taking money and not caring about the living conditions of their residents."

"At this point I would give them a zero. I have lived in this property for almost 6 years. I knew when I moved in it was a mistake. Prior to moving in we were promised that the apartment shown would be prepped and ready. The day we moved in the wall paper with Mole behind it was still there and many updated promises were not kept. We were flooded out several times while in this apartment complex and have gone without hot water on several occasions. Which I have reported to the city and BBB The pipes are old and need to be replaced, the property owners run the place like slum lords, you pay rent and since my arrival amenities that were apart of my rent have been taken back and are now at additional cost. There is constant turn over of office staff, making it difficult to have a positive relationship with office staff. I Don't plan to stay any longer, due to the recent 11 days without hot Water . We are constantly lied to about the pipe replacement situation and often no one picks up the office phone even when there is no crisis, you have to physically go in. I feel in the interest of saving their money at the convenience of the tenants we have had to go without. I would not trust the office manger or the property investor to do what's right for the customers they are all about getting your money and giving you nothing bank in return . However, they will gladly take the time to cite you and fine you, without giving you anything in return but lies. Throughout my entire time here I've to fight to insure I get what I need. My spouse and I are retired as are many living in this complex, they take advantage. As this property Manager once told me when I was complaining about their lack of service ,well I could move she's exactly right and I will."
