"Contour Gardens is a hidden gem. It is located between two major streets which allows quick access to 410, I-10 and Hwy281. It is within walking distance of several major bus routes, Golf trails, city parks, local bars and eateries and delicious street food. Whole Foods, H.E.B and Trader Joe's are within an 8min drive (no food desert here). On a sunny Sunday take a bike ride to the Alamo Quarry theater for a matinee or take a quick drive and enjoy a beer (or a few) and watch some art house cinema at the Bijou. If you are in the mood for some shoe shopping, North Star Mall is right down the street. Contour Gardens is ideal if you are a student( SAC, Incarnate Word and Trinity are mins away), just starting out and are looking for a place where you can live, work, and save a little and travel or maybe you have a family and are looking for a safe friendly environment. I enjoy living here and plan to be here for awhile."

"Should have listened to the previous reviews , but decided to check it out myself anyways. I applied to live at these apartments on a Wednesday & was told by the manager I would get an answer the next day. The following day I was told she had to futher discuss my application with her boss which I completely understood. Friday came around, I was told by the manager that her boss was out & would get back to me Monday . At this time I began to get really frustrated because the manager would never pick up her phone & I would have to keep trying to get ahold of her for an update. Monday came around & still no update from the manager , I had to call the office myself and was told she was out sick. Later that day after many calls she finally decides to reach out to me telling me she’s texting her boss & will give me an answer by the end of the day. Tuesday comes around , I called her & texted her multiple times and nothing. I then called the office to get my deposit back & that was it. This was by far the most unprofessional manager I have ever dealt with , the least she could have done was give me an update to let me know what exactly was going on. At the end of the day I really feel as if I dodged a bullet, I could only imagine what its like living somewhere with such poor management !"
