Hidden Village Apartments

"I strongly discourage anyone from moving here. I have been here for almost a year and some of the same issues i reported 9 months ago have never been remedied. The roaches are ridiculous. The foundation on my building is all jacked up. Huge crack in my patio. Frame supporting living room glass window is rotted. Quarter inch gap between top of window and frame. Nails coming out of ceiling. Water is constantly being shut off without warning, sometimes for upto 24 + hours."

"These apartments are by far the worst I've ever lived in they roach infestation that was never taken care of our water was constantly getting turned off without notice and constant work orders that were never fixed or dealt with and when management was reminded they had no idea maintenance never fixed the issue. We spent two months of the hottest party of the summer without ac knowing I had two children. Cops and ambulance came every night and when we asked management if they knew why she said it was because residents kept overdosing on heroin and that they was a big drug problem in the back apartments. Our vehicle had been broken into twice and during our second year our car was stolen so that's when we decided to move. And now that were not residents anymore they are trying to charge us for things they never fixed while we were living there and things that were messed up when we moved in that apartment."

"My little brother lives in these apartments (Hidden Village) and he has always kept to myself and felt comfortable living there. I have also felt that he was in a “good place” there. But just recently when they brought in new management things started to change. He had concerns that weren’t taking care of. He communicated well with the concerns he had with the previous management (Patricia). Patricia was ALWAYS on top of stuff when it came to taking care of the property and it’s residents. Patricia would go out of her way to talk and listen to her costumers. She would always try her best to fix things that needed to be fixed. You always saw her out on property trying to take care of different issues that the property had! Hidden Village Corporate really needs to try to keep the good management around for the sake of it residents!"

"We have lived at these apartments for about 3 years and yes there have been changes in managers but one thing is for sure Miss Patricia is out her working her hardest and pushing her workers just as hard. We sometimes have to wait a couple of days to get something done but she never makes excuses for her workers and when she says it's gonna be done...IT GETS DONE!!! My dad is on Section 8, he was already fixing to fail AGAIN, Linda did NOTHING!!! When we brought our concerns to Miss Patricia she reassured us that my father would not fail again and SHE KEPT HER WORD!! Of course there will always be people who have negative things to say but opinions are just that!!!! She is working with the senior citizens to help get them extra food from the food bank, she is getting rid of all the criminals and dopeheads so we can feel safe. Her and her workers are doing EVERYTHING they can to make this place safe and beautiful. We love it here and we really needed a manager like her!!!! And I say come look at our home look at the pool....her workers have made a HUGE difference. Don't believe everything you read or hear, come find out for yourself!!!! ALL YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!! THANK YOU AND KEEP UP THE HARD WORK IT SHOWS!!!!! BELIEVING IS SEEING!!!"

"Been living here since Nov. 2018 with a mice and rat infestation. Which seem to be livable conditions and are not health or fire hazards, even though rodents are well known for transmitting and infecting people with hantavirus (and other NUMEROUS diseases) and chewing through electrical wiring. No precautions have been taken for prevention from inside and outside. They seem to be relying on feral cats and owls to do the job. I've spent a whole lot of money out of my own pocket that I can't afford to resolve the issue. Not only that, I have a current work order that was started and not completed (faucet in bath tub). It is not my responsibility to remind management to reassure that their employees stay on top on their job and to assure its residents to feel safe and comfortable in their own home. My advice to future occupants... Do your research before moving in. This is the first and only time I've EVER had this kind of problem. No where else in San Antonio. House or Apartment complex."
