"I have been at Richland for two years. My first apartment was small but I made it into my home the best way I could. Appliance were a little outdated but everything worked so I didn’t complain. I had some issues at the end of my last lease with them which was a little crazy but after two years I understand things break down or other things come up. I was about to leave and not sign another lease with them because I also work at an apartment complex and they had a little better pricing and I would be able to live where I work. Nicole offered me a lot of options to help me out and sold me on this beautiful 1 bed 1 bath apartment. When I say beautiful I’m not exaggerating. The price was higher then what I wanted but the apartment was so beautiful I couldn’t pass up the offer. Roger also knew my issues in my last place and has been amazing not making me feel that my complaints weren’t unheard. The staff genuinely cares. That says a lot because I get that stuff every day from residents and I also do my best to address every issue. On another note, the property is beautiful. It’s so well maintained. I love that it’s a gated community. The dumpster hardly have trash left out. The community is lighted at night ( I’m never afraid to walk alone) the people who live here are trustworthy. I know a lot of my neighbors. The location is amazing near HEB and Walmart. Bandera road may get busy but has a lot of attractions. If you chose to live here you made a good choice. Coming from someone who works in the field I will tell you this is a great community."

"If you don’t have to move here please don’t. Apartments have mold and all the maintenance do is paint over it. They do not answer the phone and they do not take accountability. God forbid you have to break your lease due to their negligence they give you the absolute hardest time. They only contact you through email to let you know payment is due, but won’t respond back to your questions or concerns. None of the office workers or workers above care for their residents they only care for money. If you want to be treated well, don’t want roaches, mold, or sickness please don’t move here."

"Do not apply here. All the other bad reviews are true. I did not sign a lease, but I am still receiving emails reminding me to pay rent. Was told the apartment was move in ready, went to tour it before signing, and the apartment was not in livable conditions. They should have never allowed me to apply for the move in date they promised. I feel robbed by them even taking application and administration fees, and they refuse to reimburse me even though I am sure they know the apartment is not livable now - much less my set move-in date. Filled with black mold in the outside closet and by the patio door, missing stove top knobs, mold painted over, unsafe and unstable closet doors, cat urine odor - although it was claimed to have new carpets, no window screens, hate symbols etched into the front door, dirt all over where it the AC and water heater are. The ceiling is literally swelling with water damage and mold. The surrounding doors have all of their black paint peeling off. It never should have been offered as available. Will be reaching out to Department of Housing and Community Affairs to report this place as a health violation."

"I have never been in a situation like this apartment complex has put me through. After driving from Augusta, GA (which they were aware of) I was given the keys to an apartment that was.. not move in ready to say the least. It was apartment 1404. Things were literally falling apart as I touched it. Screens in windows were ripped, bedroom fan literally hanging off the ceiling, paint outlines on the patio, hair PAINTED into drawers, lights not turning on, washer and dryer connections just falling apart, stains on things, lots of things were dirty, and to make all it worse in the middle of the night I ended up killing 20-50 roaches. The office promised me they'd fix everything as soon as possible.. but you don't drive 17 hours to get an apartment that needs work done immediately. My advice to anyone looking to rent here is #1 Listen to these reviews, I wish I did, #2 Don't fall for the model apartment and #3 See the exact unit you are moving into BEFORE you pay. I ended up terminating my lease after 2 days. Staff was fine and maintenance was professional, but I'm left with a bitter taste in my mouth with them since they gave me this situation to begin with. They knew I was coming over a month in advance and I even called when I hit the road. I would not recommend this complex to anyone."
