"If I can give a zero star, I would. The office staff is great and accommodating. Dr. Schlichtemeir? NOT SO MUCH. Before I came in to meet her, I’ve read reviews just so I can prepare. I can tell you right now, 90% of the negative reviews are TRUE. She really does come off as CONDESCENDING. This place is always hiring for a specific position due to her attitude. I am not surprised a lot of her staff have left. She likes to micromanage. She makes you feel really low and dumb. If it’s not her job to do, she complains. But if it’s her staff, everyone has to work as a team regardless of their position. I would not recommend applying here or even think about bringing your kids here. I would want my kids to be taken care of and not talk down to. Someone who doesn’t have the right to tell me how to raise them. I’d rather work at Buc’ees, that would pay more (more than $16) and a place where employees are appreciated."

"We love Dr. Schlichtemeier! We've been with her over 15 years. Having a child with special needs can be scary. She always takes the time to thoroughly explain and is gifted in the way that she explains things to a child at an appropriate age level. She has spent hours over the phone explaining test results and plan of care in the years in a reassuring way. I've never left the office with questions. If I did, I know it would take a simple phone call or email and I would get a quick reply. She is exceptional. Her practice is also connected to Children's and that is a huge help in referrals."
