Bear Spring Apartments

"Liked them at first, but at the end it wasn't the best. When I moved in I stayed with my sister & her husband & that's where they live. Then when I was ready some 6ish mths later I got my own apt. They were nice & really good about everything. Rose was the one in the office then. After a while Margie came in & I guess she took over or what have you. Well tbh I actually think that things kinda went down & worse then. And when I was leaving (yes early) & I had no problem with how the process worked with that. But the rudeness & the way Margie acted was... Well, not the best or very professional of you ask me. Then the way they dealt with my boyfriend (also neighbor) after that was ALL wrong!!!!! Just not decent or professional people AT ALL!!! They can kiss mine!!!!!!!! Definitely would NOT recommend anyone to have to deal with any type of emergency or anything personal & have to ask them to understand & possibly give them a small amount of time to get something done to make everything better!!!! And gettin maintenance to get things done is like pulling teeth.... You'll be waiting for a while...."

"If I could leave this review with NO stars I would. Unfortunately, I have a elder family member currently living here and has yet to receive any maintenance or help regarding multiple problems in her unit. I do not recommend looking any further into this complex, if management allows a tenant to live in a apt for weeks with a non stop leak in the roof. Now I have to step in and make sure things get done because we can not count on management or maintenance."

"I had a repayment agreement that I abided by. I paid my deceDece rent and got a rent receipt. When I went to pay my rent for January I was told that I had to pay $1689 that same day or be out in 3days. They told me that I hadn't paid Novembers rent. So if I didn't pay November's rent why did they take the December's rent and give me a receipt that doesn't reflect a November's balance or why didn't they apply December's rent to november? Then threatened me with eviction...I used to talk so we'll about these apartments but after this happened I've been told by several people and by other apartment managers that these people have poor bookkeeping skills."

"Terrible. Cheap apartments, but you get what you pay for. Office staff is rude. Called for a maintenance request one time and was told I had to deal with it myself. Pool was never clean and sidewalks have been under construction for almost the past year. All of that aside, I finally move out and then I get a letter in the mail for Move Out Fees which totaled to almost $800! I called to ask why because I made sure to clean before leaving and mid sentence I was cut off "We have pictures" I'll never recommend this place to anyone."

"If I was able to leave 0 stars for this apartment, I would. To make a very long and horrific story short, I encountered 2 floods in one unit within 6 months (and I'm not talking about a small amount of water but an entire apartment covered in water), apartment infested with roaches, and stolen rent while living in another unit. That stolen rent, I ended up paying again (Total of $1340) and have yet to see that extra money I paid. I was always given the runaround by Maria the property manager. My advice to you if you decide to move into this dump, DO NOT count on this property manager to provide you with any type of assistance because she will only make you feel like a nuisance and will do nothing but make up excuses as to why you may be encountering problems with your apartment. And TRUST ME, you will encounter problems while residing here. Save yourself the headache and hassle and look elsewhere. While it may be cheap, it definitely is not worth the rent you'll be paying each month."
