"Nobody ever in the office. Website says to call. Calling says opted in to text and says go to website. Then call disconnected. Worst company for customer service."

"Pawel Village is a small and quiet apartment complex surrounded by trees located on the outskirts of San Antonio. The parking areas are well lit. The laundry facility is a plus. The swimming pool, tennis courts, and walking trails are great amenities. Any issues are resolved in a timely manner. I truly enjoy living here!"

"I’ve lived here for two years now and it has become a significantly worse place to live. This is mainly due to maintenance. They are incredibly rude and never actually solve problems they are called for. For example: my AC unit went out about a month and half ago. I have put in a service request three different times. The first two times they would get it working for about two-three days and it would stop working. The third time I was out (I had given clearance for them to enter the apartment if I was not there) and I ended up getting a call from the maintenance man. As soon as I answered with “hello”, he started Rudely yelling at me saying that he was about to walk away because I want answering the door. I tried to tell him I wasn’t home, but he continued to yell over me saying he saw someone in my apartment. He only stopped when I yelled back and told him to call the cops because I’m the only one who lives there. He then realized he had called the wrong house. Finally when he calmed down a tad he told me that he couldn’t fix it because it was too dark and couldn’t see (don’t know why he couldn’t use a flashlight or turn on the light). He told me he put a portable AC unit in and he would be back tomorrow or Tuesday when he could see (for future readers it has been over 100 degrees this past week or so). Then while I’m driving home to see what he did, I get another call. He was mumbling to himself and I could barley make out what he was saying. The only things I understood him say was that the back of the portable AC unit was broken and to tape the back of the tube to the portable unit (something he should have done). When I got back there were scuff marks on the floor by the unit, the main lights no longer worked, and the portable AC unit he put in was broken."

"DON’T RENT HERE!! Management is unprofessional. My friends apartment was broken into by management right before her lease was up. They finally fixed all of the already-existing leaks and cracks, but also took all items left inside while also changing her locks. They refused to release surveillance video!!"

"Black mold in bathrooms (checked with neighbors too), rabied animals, amenities in constant disrepair, no parking structures or order, parking lot taken up by multicar families (think up to 5 cars for two drivers) or squatters using the pool. Drivers speeding through children's areas and scenery disappearing due to construction. Almost all positive reviews mention low price but pricing to local market means increase in rents without increase in security, maintenance, or amenities. These are still former dorm rooms, not necessarily what is local market. I have a litany for this place and could continue. Only positive was lower rents than some areas but apartments are small even for studios."
