"I love this little community! Overall, it's pretty quiet. However, this morning, as we were leaving to have breakfast somewhere, we could hear some honking at a distance. Shortly after, we saw a golf cart with a USA flag driving down the street waving good morning. There was another right behind... it turned out to be a golf cart convoy. I really liked it!!! They all looked so happy this morning and ready to enjoy the day. Maybe I'll capture them tomorrow morning. Our rental includes pool access, but we haven't gone in, just checked it out and it looks serene. I'm eyeing that trail around the golf course, though. Maybe I'll take a jog Sunday morning before checkout. Our check-in was pretty easy and I like that there's a gate so that there is limited access to this area. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a peaceful stay away from home, yet close to South Padre Island."
"Such a beautiful community. Nice, friendly, welcoming people here. The atmosphere is relaxing, fun, and sunny! I've caught fish, watched dolphins, and viewed a gorgeous sunset from my deck. Everything is always clean and well maintained. The activity center gives us something to do if we get bored at the house. This is my favorite place to be when I'm on vacation."
