"This was exactly what I was looking for. Top-notch BBQ in a proper restaurant bar setting. I started with a cherry vanilla bourbon with coke...awesome drink! I had the brisket and pulled pork combo and it did not disappoint. They have their own sauce to add. My side was a double order of mashed potatoes. The price was great too.. It was my first time there (from Canada) and I will be back in May for business and I'm bringing everybody!"

"Pappas Delta Blues Smokehouse is one of our go to spots when we crave a good burger. Upbeat place where the portions are just right and food is always consistent. Drinks are well mixed and the pork belly deviled eggs are our favorite, which we get every time we dine in. The service and servers are always wonderful."

"I am a huge barbecue fan! I have tried so many different barbecue spots, but this place is my all time favorite!!! It never ever disappoints. The meats here are always so flavorful, tender, and juicy! My favorite item here is the pork ribs, but there are times where they sell out. It can be very upsetting, but once you give them a try you will understand why they sell out!!! They are amazing. The basket of sauces, sides, and bread rolls are also all very very good! I do recommend for EVERYONE to try their Sunday’s Deviled Eggs! I have never been a fan of deviled eggs, but theirs made me change my mind. I cannot come here without ordering them now! I absolutely love this place and will never turn it down! Please give them a try you will NOT be disappointed!"

"Some of these 1-2 star reviews are laughable. 1. Anyone that keeps saying waist not waste is an automatic pass for me. Waist is part of your body. People shouldn’t even bother with that review. 2. The staff is not racist or judgmental like someone said. Texas is pretty diverse so no need to play the victim card. When we parked, there was a group of people just waiting by the door, but no one by the hostess. I walked up to the hostess and said how many were in my party, and we were immediately seated. Service as a whole was splendid. Our server made sure we got everything we needed. Food came out fast. We ordered several items to try. Yes it is pricey but the food we ordered was far from being bland. -sticky pork belly bites 5/5 - I really like the cherry cola glaze. The pork belly was not too sweet after the glaze. -Sunday’s deviled eggs 5/5 - brisket on top of deviled eggs. Yes please. -Roy’s chicken fried steak 5/5 - not your typical chicken fried steak from Ihop. Great quality, easy to cut. Peppercorn cream gravy was perfectly seasoned. The dinner rolls are moist not dry. I didn’t really need butter on them. Cream corn pudding with jalapeño is a must have side. Not really spicy just a small kick. -Tim’s crispy buttermilk fried chicken 5/5 - didn’t get any dried chicken in the middle, very moist and tasty."

"Ellis was our server and he was great! Love that he gave amazing recommendations! Whew! The drinks were fire and the food was excellent. We had Mac and cheese, corn puddin and the ribeye! Definitely recommend and will be back"
