"I was just at home wondering, where should I go at for lunch? I always see Papa Gino’s when I come in town and I say you know what I’m going to stop over there today because I love Philly cheesesteaks as soon as I got in there me and I guess one of the grill cooks may I tag he didn’t even attempt to greet me whether he spoke English or not he didn’t not. He didn’t see anything he just looked me in my face. We stared at each other for maybe about five seconds, he turned his head and continued to chop bread with no gloves on. I immediately walked out the store. It’s too much germs and diseases going around the world to be preparing something that goes into someone’s mouth without using gloves that is the basic rule when cooking at a restaurant."

"The #1 from Pappa Genos is absolutely hot & delicious . I also order the fries with gravy that totally soothed my soul! I guarantee I will be back for more. Very friendly service too!"

"I’ve been eating at Pappa Geno’s Steak & Cheese since the first location on W. 18th. The only thing that I’ve noticed that’s changed is the size of the cheesesteaks. They still taste great! Hands down my favorite cheesesteak spot. I like this new location. It’s big and clean and well taken care of. I really like the fact that it’s closer to my house. The bathrooms are clean and even smell good. You can’t go wrong with the #1 or the Chicken Philly. The #1 will always be my favorite, but the Chicken Philly is fire too. The French fries are my favorite type of fries. I would’ve liked them to be a little crispier than they were."

"I tried the Chicken Philly ($12) I cut mine in half. The subs are enough for 2 if you aren’t a big eater. It was not flavorful. Bun was plain no flavor. Nothing special. They are over priced for what they give. They charge extra for peppers & onions if they do not come on the philly you order. They do not have combos tht come with fries. Fries are 1 size for $3.56 I’d rather spend $12 for a full meal at Charley’s"

"I showed up, no other customers there, ordered, girl at the front was nice, got the disco fries which were so bad i could barely finish 1/4 of them. The fries themselves seem half decent but i feel like you need to make them extra crispy when adding cheese/gravy, and the cheese/gravy tasted really bad. I also got the #1 cheese steak, the bun was pretty decent, but the meat tasted like it was only season with WAYYYYY too much pepper. I couldn’t even taste the cheese/onions with how much pepper was used, i only finished it because i was absolutely starving, got a sprite too which also tasted off. $20 for horrible food"
