"My mother went in for a biopsy that was unnecessary of a C3 spinal cord tumor. Given her age, location it was better that this not be done, as there was no treatment for it. She walked into the hospital on her own and did not walk out. The treatment she endured by Ghosh and his resident still haunts the family 9 years later. The arrogance, lack of humanity, and refusal to take responsibility for making the situation worse has left scars. Mom was transferred to hospice instead of spending her last months still mobile and having some enjoyment. She died in excruciating agony. First do no harm."

"Dr subrata Ghosh performed 2 craniotomies on my mom. First in October and second in February. On Thursday 3/14/19, we had an appointment to remove stitches. My mom has a really low tolerance for pain. She was crying in pain as he removed the first three stitches, they'd been in there since surgery on 2/8/19. He was not being gentle. He got frustrated and THREW THE STITCHES AND TWEEZERS PRACTICALLY AT MY MOMS HEAD. What kind of surgeon reacts in that way in front of a patient?? He could've easily hit her on her head. He said his back hurt as his excuse for reacting. Totally not sympathetic or caring of his patients. He argued with me and suggested I remove the sutures myself. I told him I was not the surgeon. I was an EMT several years so I am not new to medical terms or conditions. I've seen people with their limbs hanging off and not scared or phased, while people with a tiny cut freaked out. Every patient is different and has a different tolerance for pain. As someone who brags about his "OVER 40 YEARS DOING THIS" should know, no patient recovers the same way and should be more understanding of his patients. Avoid him!!! He says he cares about his patients but he showed his true colors last week. I'm still very concerned about my mom's health and recovery as she is in severe pain every day and he says it's normal. Other symptoms we have brought up to him that she is experiencing, and again he says it's normal. I would give 0 stars if possible."
