"I've had such a horrible experience. After switching my insurance at 17 weeks, I had to get a new OBGYN that accepted it, I called Baylor OB/GYN to request information on how to become a new patient. I submitted my paperwork and was requesting Nishath Athar Ali, MD, as I was told several times that she was available for the month of my delivery and requested for my previous OBGYN to send them my medical records. Once the medical records were sent, Baylor staff confirmed that they had received all necessary documents and I should get an answer from Dr. Ali or her staff within 7 days. I waited 7 days and got no call. I called on the 7th day and they told me that I was still missing bloodwork paper work. WHY WAIT UNTIL I CALL TO LET ME KNOW?! Especially after they had confirmed that everything was okay? I continued to move forward with them and I submitted the missing information the same day. Now, TODAY is the 7th day since then, and again... NO ONE CALLED ME. I called myself to get an update and now they told me that they JUST updated the availability of doctors and that Dr. Ali is not available for July?! I am now 21 weeks and they made me waste 3 weeks and now it's going to be tough to find someone to accept me after 20 weeks. This is absolutely unacceptable and unethical to not have made me aware of these changes instead of having me wait for no reason. On top of that, staff will have you on hold for about 10 minutes before they even ask your name. I had to keep hanging up and calling back as it seemed like they forgot you were on hold. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE TERRIBLE PATIENT CARE THEY MUST PROVIDE. They don't care"

"These low reviews really surprised me. I have always gone to this ob since they were in their old building, and almost 10 years later will continue going here. The staff is helpful, I am seen quickly, my 2 go to Doctor’s, Anuja Vyas, and Richard Ivey are beyond my expectations. They are very well sought after doctors, so I understand when I have to wait a small time frame for an appointment to open up, but never anything insane as far as waiting goes. I will continue to go here, because these doctors, and this facility is beyond amazing"

"After a horrible experience with one of the doctors, I left at 20 weeks. Come to find out, they never took the bill for delivery off my account, and won’t release the $2,677 I paid in advance. This is the second 1-star review I’ve left them- the other one was somehow taken down. Don’t trust these profiteers."

"I give them 2 stars, because my wife seems happy. But from an administrative side of things, they are horrid. The adminstrators have figured out how to perfectly work the insurance scandal. If you have good insurance, they bill your insurance all kinds of fees, then flowdown the extra to the patient. The charge fees for every little thing possible. Need a “doctor’s note,” $25. Need an insurance form signed, $25. Need directions to the bathroom, $25. Why do they charge these fees? Because they are criminals in lab coats. I would rather be mugged, at least I would see the person doing it. Instead, I get robbed by professional white collars crooks. They are disingenuous and should be avoided."
