"Dr Azka Sadiq a Methodist Willowbrook primary care physician was indifferent and unconcerned. She gave no medical referral or any advice on healthy eating, diabetes foot care, or exercise. I'm obese with a diabetic dad. I went for an annual exam and flu shot. Yet she didn't do a cholesterol and triglycerides tests. She's no longer my primary care doctor."

"Upon arrival at my appointment on October 20, 2022 at 8:10 a.m I was warmly greeted by a receptionist who complimented me on my nails. She checked me in and asked that I have a seat. At approximately 8:15 a.m., Ms. Montonya asked me to come to the desk to discuss my appointment. Once at the desk, Ms. Montoya says, ‘Ms. Williams, unfortunately you will have to be seen virtually.” I responded by stating that I was already at the office and I needed to be seen due to swelling. Ms. Montoya reiterated that my appointment would be converted to a virtual appointment and that there was nothing she could do. I reiterated that I would not accept a virtual appointment since I was in the office. Ms. Montoya remained steadfast in her position and was committed to the PROCESS and neglected to hear the needs of me, the PATIENT, by constantly interrupting and not asking clarifying questions. Another office staff person inserted herself in the conversation, which led to the voices being elevated and no one was being heard. The second staff member then stated to me, “I’m going to call the police.” In my state of disbelief,, my heart dropped and tears began to fall down my face. As a BLACK WOMAN, I could only think of the countless number of instances where the interactions with police officers with people that look like me often end in tragedy. I sat down and informed the staff member that I would not be leaving and that I would be waiting for the police to arrive. Dr. Hodges came to the front to see what was going on. I informed her of what I was just met with and that I just wanted to be seen. Dr. Ellison-Hodges made sure that I received the care that I came in for and the office manager also came and apologized for what had taken place."

"My appointment was cancelled for no reason and without letting me know. The office staff do not care for the patients. I am very disappointed with the lack of attention."

"I took my mentally challenged brother to see Dr. Desai. He was able to establish good rapport with him. This in and of itself is a big plus because my brother is afraid of doctors. Dwight was seen at the appointed time and received a follow-up consult with a specialist. I wholeheartedly recommend this medical group."

"Methodist is a hospital. It is criminal violation of state laws and federal laws corporations opening primary care clinic. Hospitals open primary care clinics to put patients in hospital...instead of keeping them out of hospitals."
