"My wife was in so much pain, and I asked if she could just get seen and I would fill out the paperwork, I understand that was not probably going to happen but my wife was hurting. The girl at the front desk said very rudely that there were plenty of people in pain and that I wasn't the only one's that were hurting. No compassion at all. So we left to the hospital behind, and was seen right away without waiting to fill out paperwork. I don't understand people that work in these places that do not have compassion. This place was awful and I would not go back due to the treatment we received.Ascension was a huge help with everything. This happened in Kyle."

"I came in without an appointment on Saturday morning. It was busy with patients but I got signed in with the help of the receptionist and saw a doctor within an hour. I am impressed with the efficiency of the operation and the professional diagnosis, treatment and post treatment instruction. This is a first class operation."

"I was looking to schedule an appointment for Urgent Care, so I I check my insurance company to find a provider. I find that CareNow has multiple offices close to home. Great! I call the office first and asked about scheduling an appointment. I was told that everything I needed to do was online. I go in, fill out all the paperwork, including giving them copies of my insurance card. They had mentioned their Buda location had a shorter wait time, but I had already passed the option to select that location and there was not an option for me to go back and enter that location option again. I was then told I would be sent a text message to let me know when I needed to head over for my appointment I never received a time frame of when I would receive this text, only that I would be sent a text. I call back to the office, ensuring I did not miss anything. They assured me, no problem that I would be getting a text, but could not tell me exactly the time frame. That makes sense because it is all based on the number of patients that I have schedule appointments. Figuring it would take me at least 30 minutes to get there, I hop in my car and head over to the office. I roll into the office and tell them I had an appointment for today. The lady asks for my name and date of birth. She looks up, "No sir, I have no record of you." I explained I did everything online and it told me it was going to text me to let me know when I was supposed to start heading down. I even show her on my phone the email that the CareNow website sent to me. She acknowledges the fact that they did email me, but they have zero record of anything. I had mentioned that I called their office twice and was assured that I did not need to do anything at all. It look 3 different people. They still had zero record that I had an appointment or I even had anything in the system. First of all, I was told that I would be getting a text message about my appointment that dad. I am glad I did not wait around for that, because it would have never come. Secondly, what is the point of having a corporate website where you can enter all of your patient information, only to find out it has been "lost in cyberspace". Third, not one of the ladies working in the front made any effort to try and fix the situation. I was only told that I could go back and do the paperwork again. Why? So it can get lost again and then be told that they have no record of it again? If this is the level of service and care that you are going to get from an Urgent Clinic, you are better off going elsewhere. Good luck getting an appointment, good luck having the system capture your information and good luck even being seen without some silly manual process. I guess I am glad I did not have an issue where I needed to be seen the same day,"

"The Nurse Practitioner is very compassionate and caring. However, the receptionist/telephone person is extremely unhelpful. I contacted the office and stated my insurance would not cover my asthma med and inhaler had to be changed. I have been very sick with my asthma and unable to breathe and the receptionist tells me I should have contacted them earlier. I have been sick and can’t talk and she wanted me to call when I am struggling with my breathing. What a horrible and un compassionate receptionist. Furthermore, I now have to see a different doctor so they can prescribe my asthma medication. I will not be returning to this medical office. I give them a thumbs down."

"Everyone was extremely polite after having a problem with the web site checkin. The front staff was understanding and quickly assisted us to check my mother in. The assistant in back David was helpful and patient with mom who is slow at responding and remembering. The Pa was terrific wanting to treat mom to get her feeling better. Thank you all for taking care of my pillar of strength."
