"My son, now 6, had a persistent cough for as long as we could remember. We visited more than one pediatrician, an ENT who removed his tonsils and adenoids, and an allergist who ran several allergy and asthma test. These doctors prescribed several forms of medication (from antibiotics to steroids and inhalers), but nothing really worked or just did for a period of time. By the time we met Dr. Susarla, I was pretty frustrated and discouraged (to put it nicely). However, Dr. Susarla was the first, and really the only doctor, who took an unusually long among of time to fully understand my kid's medical history, asked questions, and most importantly, explained all things that could be causing the coughing, as well as possible solutions. Long story short, he got it right from the get-go, and my kid is doing amazing (I don't think I've heard him coughing since months ago). The first visit was long, but subsequent visits have been way shorter and mostly just to adjust/decrease medication. From a professional standpoint, I would recommend Dr. Susarla with my eyes closed. From a personal standpoint, I would forever be grateful for the time and the patience, even the good demeanor, during that first visit. LOVE HIM and so does my kid!"
