Magnificat Primary Care

"The Doctor and most of the staff are very pleasant. However I keep having issues with referrals they sent the 1st referral and everything was great I made my appointment, however the Dr. on the referral was not taking new patients so I called them to add a different Dr. I specified the name that needed to be on the referral and direct fax. This is where is went down hill. Sandra I believe was this lady name, can’t remember the exact name. Insisted she had already faxed it. I tried explaining the situation to her and attempted to provide a direct fax so they could get the referral in real time as I had the clinic on the phone ready and waiting to receive the new referral. This lady refused to fax it again to the new direct fax number. Did Not bother looking at the fact that we needed a different Dr. on the new referral. I went in person to pick up a copy, reception was very sweet and listened to my request. Unlike the phone experience with the back office personnel. I will have to drop a copy off in person as the specialist never received the new referral. I hope management see’s this and takes this seriously. I ended up in Emergency Room Care for a heart issue and this was a serious matter for me."

"Is there a ZERO star AMEN to the bad reviews, I have waited MONTHS to get refills and then don't get them all or they are wrong...but only after "NOW ITS TIME FOR A DR VISIT" EVERY SINGLE TIME! Because they put you off on your 3 -4 times a week calls for so long that it's been 3 or 4 months since your last visit/lab work (which no one will read and change your med doses). In the meantime, your thyroid levels are totally off, you regain the weight you lost on their :"program" and the only victim is you and your yo yo body weight. If this happened once, it might be understandable, but it keeps happening over and over....why am I still there? Because the only system worse than theirs at Magnificat is SSA/Medicare working with Teacher Retirement System of Texas. Believe me, as soon as I get my Medicare insurance, supposed to be 2 months ago, I'm out. Hopefully, there's another Functional Medicine Dr closer and with an efficient staff! These people are basically committing insurance fraud and malpractice! By now, they should recognize my angry voice, have memorized my birthdate and phone number...to add insult to injury, my "necessary visit" after 2 1/2 months of calls, was a :no call televisit "Tuesday, rescheduled to 5 pm Friday, after I checked in on portal, waited half hour. it magically rescheduled itself to Monday - when I'm completely out of Thyroid, not to mention the other meds I'm out of for months"
