PRISTINE OB-GYN CARE - Spring

"This OB office is horrible. I had both doctor Fonhoue and Ashraf. Neither of them know what they are talking about. I can't get a straight answer from either of them when it comes to abnormal test results; they don't know how to operate an ultrasound machine and constantly measure my baby two weeks behind when he is infact measuring perfectly; Ashraf doesn't know how to operate a fetal doppler and measured my 17 week son with a heart rate of 115 and said its normal -- knowing damn well that's not normal for a 17 week fetus. This isn't my first baby, this is my 3rd. And I know damn well anything under 120BPM is a cause for concern; I also had a concern where I had an abnormal pap smear come back, and doctor Fonhoue brushed me off and told me she doesn't understand what's going on and to just come back in 5 years -- and the funny thing was when I went to my new OB, my pap smear came back completely normal; another problem was I supposedly tested positive for Bacterial Vaginosis, then had another test done that came back negative for Bacterial Vaginosis -- and doctor Fonhoue once again couldn't give me a damn answer and just told me to talk to another doctor. I talked to doctor Ashraf about it, and she told me not to take any medicine to just eat yogurt or drink Kombucha for it. Not to mention doctor Fonboue prescribed me a medicine for it that is dangerous for the fetus before 12 weeks ofpregnancy, and still isn't recommended during pregnancy. Once again, went to my new doctor Oliver Batiste and all my tests came back normal. No BV, no abnormal pap smear. I even told them I'm not coming back and yet the lady Jessica Verede keeps calling me asking me to come in and take a blood test for Spina Bifida, knowing I told her I'm not coming back to Pristine and that I found a different OB to go to. The front office is never prepared; constantly asks me for my Medicaid card; puts people that are late for their appointment or even after my appointment time before me and I've had to correct them numerous times on it (just a bunch of useless teenagers that don't know how to operate a OB office). If you want to be confused, concerned, have a doctor that doesn't know what she's talking about with anything prenatal related -- then come here. I have switched to Dr. Oliver Batiste at Memorial City and he's night and day from these bozos. Don't trust anything these doctors tell you, and always get a second opinion when dealing with them."

"Don't waste your time! The ladies at the front ignore calls and are extremely unfriendly. They lie to you about your wait time, I was scheduled for 2:45pm and was never seen. I decided to cancel my appointment and leave after being forgotten about undressed in the back for 45 mins! When I questioned what was taking so long I was informed that my appointed doctor had decided to do a whole new procedure on a different patient. The lack of communication here is horrendous! I came in pain hoping to be treated with care and I was completely neglected. Find someone else who actually cares about your health! It's crazy that they try to charge late fees when they are ok with playing with your time. I was promised a refund and haven't seen one yet."

"Everyone was so polite and friendly! The place looks nice and clean, and the wait wasn't bad at all. I highly recommend Dr. Ashraf in case you're looking for someone trustworthy and very thorough. She's the best!"

"I am a new patient here, I transferred from another OBGYN and I am already feeling so much more comfortable here and looking forward to coming here now for all my future visits and having Dr. Ashraf assist me in my delivery in March. After meeting her she was so pleasant and I loved that she gave me information without having to ask since this is my first pregnancy, I don't always know what all to ask or expect. Their office is really nice and well kept. The ladies at the front desk are sweet and helpful. All around I am happy to be a patient here. I had a bad experience with my last Dr and coming here has made me feel relaxed again & excited about my pregnancy."

"No one ever picks up. You leave voicemails and no one returns your calls. I’ve called several times and it always goes to voicemail. You make an appointment online because you can’t get a hold of anyone and it just gets canceled. Yeah don’t go here, can’t even get in as a new patient. I can only imagine how it will be when I establish care and need to be seen right away or speak with the nurse right away."
