"I contacted Texas Home Health to assist with my father's bandages when he left the hospital. For some reason, this company (Margaret Care) showed up to his house instead of Texas Home Health. The first lady (India Taylor) was nice enough. She showed up to pre-interview my father and take his vital signs (to the tune of almost $800) before the "care" portion of their service started. Then, another lady called me the next day. I asked if she could change my father's surgical bandages otherwise we didn't need further care as he was walking and caring for himself and she said "yes" so I approved the visit. She showed up and literally stayed for 5 mins asking 1 or 2 questions. When asked if she was going to change the bandages, she said "I don't do that!" and left. She lied about the service she would provide in order to get into the house so that they could bill the insurance. ($450 for 5 mins). Then they billed his Medicare instead of his regular insurance which he didn't want. Even though I called back and fired them, they still keep calling to ask if they can "stop by" and "check on" my father. Except for the 1st person India, I think Margaret Care is full of money grubbing users who take advantage of the elderly. Just my opinion....Use them at your own peril."
