"I have advanced stage COPD (not due to smoking. It progressed into COPD after childhood diseases). In 2018, I was seen by a doctor at the Baylor College of Medicine, who referred me to the lung transplant list. My world was crushed. Due to the recommendation of Dr. Shah’s retired nurse, I made an appointment with him. Dr. Shah hospitalized me and replanned my entire treatment plan and eventually advised I do not need a lung transplant. For the last five years, Dr. Shah has been my pulmonologist. I see him regularly and they never reschedule or cancel my appointments. He is a friendly, knowledgeable, and a very experienced doctor. He gave me my hope to live again. As a medical doctor myself, I strongly recommend him to anyone who has a lung condition."
"Dr Shah is nice, but waiting much longer than the schedule appointment time. I got there at 12:35pm for a 12:45pm appointment and didn't get to see him until 2:15pm. Ridiculous!!!!!"
"He did my sleep study on 2/13/23 and would not send me report till 3/1/23 because his office replied to me to do another study. Something was wrong w my home kit but all of a sudden I was upset and report showed up in the evening through portal. Now as bad the report is, dr Shah will not call or reply to my 6 portal messages to help me w the treatment. I’m not sure if Dr Shah is not good or the staff never reaches him these messages. Please do not go to him for sleep study. I’ve had this worst experience so I’m sharing it."
"We waited 2 hours for the doctor and left without seeing him. After spending an hour in the waiting room and another hour in the doctors room we decided to leave. When we went out to ask the staff we were informed the doctor still had 2 patients in front of us, we told her we have been waiting for 2 hours and she just looked at us blankly. As we were leaving we also spoke to the receptionist and when we voiced our concern she just coldly told us that we would have to speak to the doctor. Neither of them apologized or seemed to care at all. You cannot treat patients this way."
"Dr. B. Shah is the most caring and compassionate Dr. I have ever dealt with! He has the best bed side manner! He gave our family the time we needed to deal with what he knew was my Dad’s last days! We appreciate him and his caring staff very much! Glenn Galloway"
