"Best theater in Austin. Wish the seats were updated as it can get a little cramped, and wish they projected at 70mm. Regardless, if you care about seeing movies in IMAX, this is your only bet in Austin. (Trust me - I've been to them all.)"
"A great place to spend a quiet weekend morning. Many IMAX options. The quick run time for these is ideal for those with short attention spans (both adults and children). Admission to the museum is not required for the theater. The parking garage is $15, so if you won’t be here all day, try to do metered street parking. The train exhibit was setup outside the paid entrance when we visited and the volunteers were very friendly and informative."
"We went to the train time IMAX and it was great. We sat toward the top of the seating area for the best view and sound. The model train exhibit was wonderful. The model railroaders were eager to talk with us. You have to go!"
"Great Imax experience- true 1:43:1 aspect ratio. Digital projection - amazing sound. No assigned seats though so you do have to get there early. For opening week of Oppenheimer we got there an hour early and got great seats. Best to sit just above the center in the middle. They also let us in very early which was nice- we were only in line for maybe 20 min."
"One-of-a-kind experience. The IMAX GT laser provides stunning resolution in every scene. Nothing to complain. If I knew this place before I went to see Avatar 2, I will definitely come here for it."
