"You know that feeling when you see the doctor walk in and you know right away that you're not going to receive any real care? I think the students here are just interrupting his time between him and his donuts..."

"The male NP that saw me told me he's never heard of eye pain before... Terrible experience. On another occasion they gave me the flu shot there and it hurt so bad. The moment I took off my bandage I noticed a lot of blood in it, that had never happened to me before."

"The nurse there Trish is an absolute god send! She was so nice and caring! She was very informative and very genuine in how she handled me and my situation. I have a lot of worry when it comes to going to the doctor’s but she made me feel well taken care of and at ease. I loved her! Great experience! I will be going back for any of my medical needs because of how great her bed side manners are! God bless that woman!"

"I have had nothing but good experiences here. The wait time does vary but I have not waited for more than 30 minutes here. I’ve gotten all 3 of my COVID vaccines, Tuberculosis, and flu vaccines here and I have never had any trouble with them. I would recommend!"

"Rude and abusive workers. I went here to get COVID tested. Typically tests are done drive-through, but I didn’t have a car so I was told I had to wait outside since COVID suspected people aren’t allowed inside (understandable). HOWEVER, I waited outside in 100°F (with already feeling feverish, fatigued) for 50 minutes after my appointment time !!! Every 10 minutes, I asked what the estimated wait time was and they kept saying “they’ll be with you soon” (all throughout those 50 minutes). I told them I was feeling terrible from waiting outside in the heat and one of the workers told me, “Just wait out in the shade, they’ll be with you soon”. I waited another 10-20 minutes by then and still nothing. I went to the front entrance to ask when the nurse was coming and they told me to call their number since I couldn’t be inside, so I did, however, the first times they never answered the phone, and when they did, they just kept telling me the same thing— “be with you soon”. This review would have been a lot more positive if all they said was “It may take more 40-50 minutes after your scheduled appointment to test you for COVID”. It’s incredibly rude to keep nonchalantly downplaying their patients wait times, ESPECIALLY when they are waiting outside for that long at 110°F heat index. The only positive thing I would say about my experience here is that the nurse who attended me was kind and comforting. ******* Again, I understand when clinics are short staffed, they may not be funded well, etc. But it’s extremely disrespectful and abusive to make patients believe they’ll be attended soon— especially when waiting in South Texas heat, and being casually told “Just wait in the shade.” In conclusion, I really would not recommend this place. There are much better free services elsewhere."
