"Grossly incompetent admins. They called parent go tomorrow to Ft. Bliss Pharmacy to pick up prescription. I take parent at the time we were told to go. Ft. Bliss pharmacy had received nothing. Parent calls WelMed “ oh we will send e-prescription request right now”. Two hours later I have to call “ oh yes Ma’am you know Ft. Bliss is always doing this losing our e-prescription requests.” Another hour passes and Ft. Bliss still had received nothing. We finally leave head to WelMed to get paper prescription and it took almost 40 minutes and no one else was there. If you come here get paper, admins at WelMed may not know how to use computers it was definitely not Ft. Bliss Pharmacy!!!"
"The doctors are okay. My insurance sent me to this location. I can get a ride most of the time through my insurance. But sometimes that just isn't feasible. Then I really have a problem. I don't have any transportation of my own. So I have to depend on the bus. I am a senior and disabled so that is a big problem. It is 3-4 blocks from the nearest bus stop. I have a problem just walking 1 block let alone that far. It can take me around an hour to walk that far."
"WellMed is the worst. Although the doctors and their assistants are great their office personnel are terrible. Regular appointments are not available for months, and getting in to see your doctor for urgent care is impossible. Even trying to get a specialist referral renewed via telephone has taken 3 weeks to date and still has not been completed. It gets worse with every visit. It is the patient who suffers from their apathy. So, although the doctors would get 5 stars WellMed and the office staff would get zero stars if that was possible."
"My first visit went great. The staff were all very nice. I did see a PA, not a doctor, but at this time I don't really need to see a doctor. Lauren, my PA, was very nice and interested in what I had to say. Having grown up in the military and now having to find my own medical service, finding WellMed was perfect."
