"Haven't seen “The Doctor" in over 15 yrs. The only reason I stay with them is for insurance purposes. "Better the devil you know than the one you don't". I had complained of perpetual headaches and told the P.As. that I believed I was suffering from hypertension. I complained over a two year period and reminded them that hypertension is a genetic problem in my family and becomes uncontrollable, but still I was dismissed. It finally took a broken finger for the HOSPITAL E.R. REAL DOCTOR to diagnose me and prescribe medication. He told me, in addition to adding it to his notes that would be sent to my Dr.'s office, to tell my “Dr." that I need medication to control my hypertension and that I would need it for the rest of my life. I SUFFERED AND COMPLAINED FOR OVER TWO YEARS With Debilitating Headaches And Other Symptoms, Only To Be Ignored And Dismissed. It took an E.R. Dr. to get them to prescribe the medication I needed and asked for all along. I've been searching for another Dr. That comes with recommendations from people I can actually speak to AND that is in my health insurance network. We've switched before due to insurance company changes and those Dr.s weren't any better, a few were just pill pushers and we ended up with tons of medications for simple ailments. So if you can find a Dr. who fights the health insurance beast and ACTUALLY speaks and listens to you, stick with him/her.
