The Wimberley Yurts offer hill country views and are located near downtown Wimberley, while the Dripping Springs Yurtopian Resort spans 46 acres of wooded hill country with hiking trails and creek access. "I would highly recommend this to any couple looking for a quiet, remote, and relaxing getaway. We enjoyed some of the local wineries and distilleries, but truly loved the relaxing and secluded atmosphere. We went in the winter and were concerned about the cold, but the yurt was well insulated and they provided extra blankets for sitting out by the fire. Amazing gas lit fireplace and a hot tub with tv. This was a true glamping experience. I’m sure we will be back."
"Stop searching and just book your stay here. If you're wanting a romantic, secluded, quiet getaway, with all the benefits of camping without all of the work... This is the place. The Yurts are as comfortable as they are beautiful, and the amenities and privacy you get here make it absolutely worth the price you pay. Customer service is fantastic... They helped me arrange a flower delivery to our Yurt to help celebrate our Anniversary. Everything was great and we are already talking about a return trip."
"This wa a suprise for my husband, a minivaca, lets just say, it was a fabulous! We both loved it so much that we didnt even leave to enjoy the great town of Wimberley, we cooked all our meals here, enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and sunset! Very relaxing get away!"
"This was a beautiful and romantic place to connect with some one and be in the quiet of nature, with the comfort of everything you need. The yurts are beautiful, a work of art to gaze at when inside. I will definitely come back!"
"We had an amazing time! I am far from the camping type but this is totally my speed. The king size bed it so comfortable and the linens are high quality. The bathroom is very clean and I love the counter tops and vanity. The shower gets really hot and the floors are so cool. Outdoor kitchen is well equipped and clean as well. We were so happy with everything. Hot tub is the perfect size too (it’s bigger in person than it appeared to me online). We used the trails and went for a walk but mostly just relaxed and snacked. The only complaint I had was the smell of our yurt (Kathie). It was raining during our stay so I assume that may have had something to do with it..wet rope/wood maybe - it smelt like a Guinea pig cage! We will be back and would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to get away and relax for the weekend."
