Hotel Flora and Fauna

"Hotel Flora and Fauna is a wonderful oasis tucked between the famous River Road and the bustling town of Wimberly. We stayed for three nights - extending our initial two-day vacation after enjoying ourselves so much. It is equipped with a small kitchen, a comfortable bed, linens (including robes!), and the grounds give you access to a grill, pool, and hot tub (and, boy, it is hot!). The stay and FF was fantastic and had little room for improvement. If I had to give any suggestions for feedback, I would say that it would have been nice to have access to Netflix or some other streaming service on the television, and the outdoor chairs by the hotel room were quite uncomfortable. However, those are just nit-picks as the accommodations were nearly perfect."

"Perfect location to park and then walk in to town. The main strip can get crowded with cars and people and just being able to walk everywhere was great. The rooms had everything we needed and the provided amenities (breakfast voucher, hot tub, etc) was great. Would definitely stay here again! (Edit: I agree with others that the walls were very "thin". Essentially we could hear a lot from our neighbors, but we spent most of the day out and about. Things were quiet by "bedtime" (around 10 or 11pm). Overall, the noise wasn't a deal breaker for us, but we did notice it!)"

"We wanted a comfortable, relaxing place to take it easy for a couple days. Hotel Flora and Fauna definitely fit that! The rooms were so comfortable. The property is beautiful. The rooms include so many things for a comfortable stay. We could sleep in and have breakfast and coffee in the room, using the kitchenette. (The room included vouchers for breakfast nearby, but we brought our own and we enjoyed the coffee & coffeemaker provided in the room.) The room included books and games and even a record player and some records! The furniture was all comfortable for relaxing. I even tried to go for a swim in the lovely pool, but it really was a lovely autumn day and not quite swimming weather. We are already looking forward to going back!!"

"We booked the whole place for us and our wedding party and it was perfect! They have a wedding package which made booking very affordable. The location was great, just a short walk/drive to town square and to our wedding venue! The rooms had plenty of amenities for us and our guests. Plus the pool and the hot tub were the perfect place to hang out and relax throughout the weekend. I am so grateful we found Hotel Flora and Fauna for our stay!"
