"Parents of young children need to brace themselves to be reported to Child Protective Services when bringing their kids into the ER. It doesn't seem to matter what the issue is or that the parents themselves are the ones seeking assistance for their kids -- they are punished for asking for help. I personally know of three separate cases occurring to obviously caring parents in the past year and a half. Social services at this hospital seems to be dismissive of parents and seriously needs to rethink its policy. Texas is a mandated reporting state, yes. But this knee-jerk reaction causes months of trauma and anxiety for the innocent parents. Due to this common occurrence, I cannot recommend UMH to anyone and would encourage all parents to find a different place to go, if at all possible."

"So much money spent on a building with a Univision sign outside of it to upcharge the ill with 5 star prices for less than 1 star service. Incompetence at its finest at the cost of others."

"I had an MRI done. I was nervous about it. James made me very calm. Even with the 2 bottles of nasty stuff I had to drink. During the test, James was so nice and comforting. I have low blood pressure, so after the test I was very dizzy. James and his manager, Ralph Gonzalez took me to the cafeteria and got me something to eat. They both came and checked on me to make sure I was ok to leave. This is the best radiology department I have ever been in. Thank you James and Ralph."

"We had to take our son to the ER here while on vacation after he suffered a fall and needed stitches. They got us in quick and made sure to address all of our concerns and get him the help he needed. Our nurse Kelsey was so kind and attentive and truly made us feel more comfortable throughout the whole process."

"When we got to the hospital the wait took about two hours to get seen we saw two nurses and they were very nice I told them most of my symptoms I was experiencing was strep like symptoms well the ER Doc put in orders for flu and covid test and refused to do a strep test for me. Doctor Hasbun was the ER Doctor and he came in with a attitude and was very rude that's probably why my blood pressure was high at discharge. So much for nothing because he was just a terrible excuse for a doctor."
