"Food came out cold or definitely not hot , soup was over salted and meat hard . But the veggies in coconut milk, noodles and brown marrow were great. Cute place ."

"I always believe in fairness and to give credit where it's due. Having seen the social media posts and also being a Filipino myself who loves food - my family and I decided to check the place out even if it's a long drive from home. The food was ok but the size and portion of the serving - considering the price was way too small. I am not after of the "plating"/arrangement - and I think most will agree but I am after of the taste and quality of the food. I ordered Squid Sisig, while the taste was good, I could hardly find them because it was saturated with too much tofu! There is more tofu than squid actually. I should have just ordered tofu! The pinakbet was actually good, my kinda favorite of how it was prepared (Stir-fry'ish and not watery) but puzzled by the giant uncut Okra in it! And aside from the grilled Pompano, I also ordered tapsilog, I specifically ordered the beef to be a bit "crispy" but it wasn't. The beef in my tapsilog was so soft and it kinda grossed me out. The only thing that made a huge difference in that visit is the service. The server Dennis was very polite, professional and knows his job. Hence the 5 star review for him. Well done Dennis and hope to see you back again soon. To those planning a visit, go there early or y'all will have to wait really long. Yes, I am still planning of going back so please take this review constructively. I am trying to help in my own small way and I want you guys to succeed and hopefully open a branch in Pearland."

"First time trying Filipino food got recommendations from our server. They have complimentary shrimp chip. We order the Kare-Kare peanut butter beef 3/5 I kind of expected more of a peanut flavor but it was more thick and flavorless the shrimp past really gave it some flavor. The meat was super tender but didn’t feel like we got much meat it was a mix of beef and tendon. Their dishes are super small in portion. Garlic rice was good 4/5 Bbq pork skewers 3/5 they were pretty big flavor was there but a bit too chewy. Halo halo 4/5 it was really good but I wished they added more of the topping. Our server was nice but felt like he needed just a bit more training if management. We order the skewers first and didn’t get we ended up getting the Kare kare and the table that came after us got skewers before us. Then we order the halo halo but he didn’t clear the table so when the dessert came out he was clearing dishes and didn’t have spoons ready. We had to flag down one of the staff to get spoons as we were just sitting there patiently looking at our dessert. Most of the time we didn’t really see server maybe he was really busy running food not sure not a huge deal but just wanted to ensure he was more attentive and uses his time wisely."

"We went Thursday night around 730PM. Didn’t have any parking issue. We got seated pretty quickly. Our server, Alnim took our order and got appetizer Lumpiang Shanghai and Pork BBQ Skewer shortly after. After we’re done eating appetizers, our rice came and then all main dishes came out. I really liked the Kare-Kare because it seasoned to perfection, I liked the Pancit Canton too. Also, they just opened like a week ago, I’m sure the staff are still trying to navigate depending on customers tastes and wants and needs. Overall it was pretty awesome experience. The staff were all welcoming, it was nice ambience, It felt like home. Definitely coming back and we’ll recommend to family and friends."

"After struggling to secure a reservation for several weeks due to the restaurant's popularity and long waiting lists, I decided to take a chance and show up without one last Sunday afternoon. To my surprise, the staff accommodated us after a 35-minute wait, seating a party of three. The food and service exceeded our expectations and were well worth the wait. The restaurant's small and cozy atmosphere likely contributes to its booking challenges. Our server, Kevin, went above and beyond in providing us with a detailed description of each dish, helping us make informed choices. Among the dishes we tried, the standout was undoubtedly the Ube pancake, which was exceptionally fresh and bursting with flavor. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I'm certainly planning to return in the future to savor more of their delightful offerings."
