"First and foremost, the staff here is what made my stay here. They were awesome. Rooms were clean and well stocked, a/c could have been a bit better. Good place otherwise."
"I selected this location based on the EV charging station option in the IHG App. Figured between the Houston and Austin metro areas it would be an ok rental option. Drove way out to Elgin counting on topping the car off at night to continue on my way in the AM. There were no charging options on site. If my battery were any lower it would have resulted in a tow. Luckily I was able to make it to the community college and get enough juice to get me to my morning meeting and into Austin to charge the car. A competent hotel manager should verify the information their parent company has for their hotel location on the IHG app. I wasn't using some third part booking agent. Overall, my experience with IHG is disappointing. I'm diamond elite with almost 1,000,000 points. I rarely get room upgrades, even last night after the app debacle and an almost empty parking lot I didn't get an upgrade. The hotels are starting to get run down, and you can't even count on the information on the companies own app. I'll be switching chains soon. I'm done."
"Skip the breakfast. Bagels were moldy, wheat bread was hard and stale. Sausage gravy looked like it was a hold over from a few days as the pan was crusty around the edges."
"Check in was amazing, and the staff was eager to help. The stay was great, and the breakfast hit the spot each morning. Great location with access to food and amenities nearby."
"The night I stayed they were completely booked and when checking in the front desk staff informed me that my room was missing the blackout shade due an incident that occurred by another guest the night before, so no opportunity to get another room. Not a huge deal, was on the 3rd floor so it wasn’t much of an inconvenience. Staff was extremely nice and helpful, room was clean and comfortable."
