"Very quaint, clean, quiet, & prefect for a weekend getaway. It is located 15-17 minutes outside of town so it's a good idea to bring some food out there with you. There's a mini fridge and a microwave. The coffee pot wasn't the cleanest and the creamer pods were expired or something. The definitely could replaced the shower head. But all in all, we enjoyed the stay and the escaped."
"Finally, I am leaving a review. I got the room as a surprise and spontaneous trip in 2019. The kitchen was shut down, and the website says it is still shut down. Despite this disappointment, it lives in memory as one of the best trips. The hot tub. The 2-person bathing tub. Robes. Peaceful outdoor seating. Starry nights. Nothing beats the peace and solitude. Not that far from local winery and other areas of interest. I've flirted with the idea of going back more than once, but the cost and time a little bit prohibitive for me these last few years."
"Surprised my now fiancé with a weekend away to Mt. Gainor Inn during the spring of 2022 as a birthday gift. We absolutely loved the room we stayed in, and the location was awesome. Close enough to everything you may need, while enough of a distance to enjoy the windy scenic roads of the hill country. Waking up to brew the very memorable local coffee that was provided, and enjoy it right out on the private porch to watch the many deer was probably the most relaxed I've been in a very long time. We can't wait to find time to make the trip again, and look forward to a guaranteed relaxing time away in this, what quickly felt like a home away from home."
"I wouldn’t waste your money! For a bed and breakfast, we only got a bed. And you can barely call it that. The bed wasn’t comfortable and at the price you pay, the pillows should be a lot more comfortable. We looked at the reviews of Mt. Gainor Inn and saw the breakfast was homemade and pretty good but it wasn’t even offered during our stay."
